A: If USB ports are disabled it will not work. Most work and school chromebooks are port disabled to ensure you can not use them.
Q: Does the refurbished t7 work as good as a new t7?
A: I purchased two of these refurbished drives. After properly initializing and formatting one of them, it appears to work as well as a new drive. This was not true for the second drive - I struggled to get it to work, and then found that 7% of the sectors of the drive were bad. It now appears to be working, but I less confidence in it.
