A: Yes. The way that this wall mount is set up, the sonos speaker has to be locked in. The round wire that u see on the top and bottom of the mount actually hugs the sonos speaker and then u close it with the latch that clamps on the side

A: Wish I could help you with an answer but I only own the Sonos speakers. Someone at best Buy might be able to look up the answer to your question.
