Q: Do you attach this to the tv itself or your existing tv mount?
A: Jason, first you remove your existing TV and you attach the Sonos Beam mount directly to the TV. Then you reattach your TV mount on top of the Sonos Beam mount. Spacers are provided to make this work. For me though, this mount wasn't compatible with my 65" Philips TV because the Sonos Beam mount arm didn't extend down far enough to clear the bottom of the TV so I was unable to even attach the Sonos Beam to the mount.
