OLED more like Plasma

I’d been using for the last 12 years a Panasonic 42” 1080 plasma tv. I wanted to upgrade to a 4k tv but discovered no one makes Plasma tv models anymore. The 1st Sony I bought was the Sony 50 Inch 4K Ultra HD TV X85K Series: LED Smart Google TV with Dolby Vision HDR and Native 120HZ Refresh Rate KD50X85K- 2022 Model. I wasn’t very impressed with the colors they are way off and could get a good adjustment and I found out LED TV’s have a terrible diagonal view area. So I put that TV in bedroom. I researched and read that OLED had similar colors and viewing angles as Plasma so found this BRAVIA XR A90J series OLED 4k Google TV and am so happy with it. It has great real looking skin colors of people and excellent viewing angles. Also the Google part is better then the other Sony I got. This TV also works much better with my AV system which is also a Sony.

The pic id phenomenal and the inky blacks from the OLED panel is breathtaking. Still running great and was installed by geek squad and still holding strong. It gors great with my PS5 and makes every game look amazing. Even without a soundbar this tv sounds great since it is in my bedroom. Even though it is an older tv it still holds up with amazing picture. Definitely gonna be a sony OLED again once i have to replace this

Audio coming from the tv is amazing does not require a sound bar has good bass and clarity. The frame rate of 120hz keeps up when gaming on my PC and PS5. Sports look very smooth no ghosting on the panel.

- A:Answer It has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports but 1 is dedicated to eARC for audio. So if you have both a PS5, a Series X, and an ATMOS soundbar, you'll have have to choose which device doesn't get the hdmi 2.1 connection.

Organic LED displays (OLED) may experience image retention if an image is continuously displayed for a long period of time or the same image is repeatedly displayed. This is due to the characteristics of the materials used to achieve high-definition imaging. To protect your TV screen, avoid using images that may cause image retention. The good news is that we have steps to protect the TV screen from image retention like Pixel Shift and Panel Refresh found within the TV settings just to name a few. Q: QuestionCan you record OTA TV channels? Did the new ATSC 3.0 help improve signal? Does the OTA channel guide (if it exists) let you schedule recordings? Can you do this without internet? How much internal storage on TV? Can you record OTA TV to a USB drive?

- A:Answer Hi frood, Thank you for the inquiry. The on-board storage of the A90J is 16GB. The ATSC/NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0) is built-in on the XR A90J series TVs. You do not need an internet connection to use the tuner channel. Using just your antenna and an ATSC 3.0 tuner, you'll be able to watch available stations in your location. With the ATSC/NEXTGEN TV (ATSC 3.0), the TV improves the reception and enhanced the content of the resolutions. This TV does not support recording the Over-The-Air Channels and unable to save in the USB drive.
