Looked on Apple Website and this came up as recommended and I understand why. It has a rubberized case that goes all the way around with space between case and top to secure and charge your pencil. For horizontal stand fold up the back with sides under the two rubber bumps and magnet lays flat near top back. I did find you can rotate it vertically if you want to watch something.
