This world offers too much…
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendBest show currently on television, period. At least I hope it continues on for another season or more. Helmed by the hardest working guy in Hollywood, Steven Soderbergh, backed by incredible team of writers and an amazing cast of actors, it manages to turn the beyond cliché television melodrama ‘medical procedural’ on its head and create a dazzling portrait of America at the turn of the century, 20th that is...

Great!!!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis show is awesome, I would highly recommend it to anyone, the only exception being that there are only two seasons then the programming got cut by Cinemax. I am not through the whole second season yet, but I feel this show could have carried on for much longer. I will be sad to see it end and wonder if they did a clean end cut or if it will be abrupt.

The Knick: Season 2
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI picked up the 1st season because I like Clive Owen, and the series did not disappoint. The 2nd season doesn't miss a bit and has some good story and character development. Also, it's a "dramatic" glimpse to see how far we've progressed (in some aspects) in one hundred years of medical and social development. I say expand the video library and get the series!

Hope there was a Season 3
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIn 2 seasons, The Knick has proven one for the ages in capturing how medicine was practiced during the early 1900s . Together with great drama, acting and plot intrigue, this was a great experience no matter how short lived it was! I hope things can be sorted out to allow for a season 3!

The Knick Season 2
|Posted .I've been a Soderbergh fan since the 90s. His material is always thought provoking, mature and intelligent. Minus Clive Owen, I wasn't aware of the other actors work. I like it that way. I can usually go in on a project without any bias. I don't have cable so this dvd is the only way for me to see this great show.

Very Good Unusual Series
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI got to view a sample episode of season one and I got right into this series about medicine in the 1900s. Clive Owen does a remarkable job playing Dr. John Thackery. The surgical scenes are wild and a little scary. The storey line and characters are very good. I wish there would be a season 3

Excellent period drama series
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is an excellent period drama series set around the turn of the century (the early 1900's) at a New York hospital. I was hooked after seeing the first series and the second doesn't disappoint. Fine performances and terrific period detail.

Such a good deal!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI had earned a $5 reward through Reward Zone and combined with the sale price of $17.99 for the blu-ray it was a sweet deal! I haven't watched it yet, but the first season was some of the best TV out there. Sad season 2 will be the last.
