The product works as designed. As an IT professional, Win7 is still the OS of choice by businesses across America. I used this product to rebuild a friend's 32-bit Windows Vista system fraught with all the limitations of that terrible Microsoft product. The machine now runs beautifully and my friend is extremely happy with the complete rebuild.

Disc came in a cardboard envlope, NOT plastic box as pictured. Everything still worked fine. COA is on the inside.

Based on the compatibility with my existing programs and on recommendations from my friends, I decided to upgrade my machine from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro. So far, it looks like a great decision. The new OS works with my existing programs perfectly and the learning path to Windows 7 seems to be a lot easier than Windows 8.

I ordered Windows 7 Professional because of all of the great features that Windows 7 has to offer plus the extra security that professional has builtin to the operating system. I am very fond of the ease of use that Windows 7 has to provide it is a very user friendly operating system I believe one of the best Microsoft has ever come up with. my only problem with this purchase is that Microsoft sent the original equipment manufacturers version ... ( OEM ) for that reason I only gave this review 3 stars.

Windows 7 is great and easy to use. Updated an 8 year old PC running Windows Vista . The install process was easy and all of my programs worked with out issue. I highly recommend Windows 7 since its supported for many years to come.
