Seemed good in theory
It sounded good on paper, military grade and all that but it seemed to want to grab the screen before I was ready to apply it and so that caused it to be misaligned and had to be repositioned. In short all of that caused massive bubbling and cloudiness that the package said would dissipate and didnt. So to me it was junk and had to be removed. Maybe someone else will have better luck. Just make sure you have it exact the first time because there's no going back. At least some other kinds you can get a second chance at alignment but this one seems to be a one shot deal. SUPER stuck to the screen to, The store worker had to forcefully PEEL it off. I thought sure she was going to break the tablet in half thats how stuck it was. I am not a screen protector attacher expert but this one came out horrible, see pic. This is a new tablet too. Looks like it went through heck and back but that was brand new with brand new protector.

This costs half the price of the Protection Plan
I don't like scratches on my screen and since I no longer want to get the protection plan on 7 inch Tablets, I definitely recommend getting something to protect it. This screen protector, the shield may, or may not slow the reponse of your finger (scrolling and tapping) on the Tablet, a little. It's probably just an issue, with the Tablet, instead. If scratches really bother you, you have the protection plan, and want the screen to be perfect, get the shield. Why use up your protection plan (or get one at all), when you could spend half the money and always be covered? This protects the what the protection plan mostly covers, anyway. Unless you're clumsy or just rough on your stuff, just get the shield. Trust me, I have a Tablet, that had the protection plan and got broken. Beware. The first time, that I installed the shield, I was not happy, with it. I did get something different than the spray, which was in the installation video. It was basically a "wet nap". It, or the lack of the spray caused little specs to get and stay under the shield and I thought there was something stuck on top. It was big (it was actually underneath) and I tried to scrape it off, with a knife, then dug into it, a little. I thought the shield had chemically bonded to my screen and the spec was stuck. I thought I was digging into my screen, which seemed to be softened. It was actually the shield, that I was scrapping. I didn't realize that it was already installed, because of the other stiff plastic that it comes stuck to, which looks like it. I was so mad that my screen was messed up, because the shield had done the opposite of what it wss supposed to do to my screen..., but it didn't. It didn't mess my screen up; it was already installed. And the knife, digging into the shield, didn't mess the it up; it seemed to self heal. If you buy it, either ask to open the package, or before installing it, register it and call customer service to tell them that you want the spray, that's in the installation video. After my installation went bad, I called and told them, that I wanted a new one and the spray. I wasn't even charged, for the spray, but wss told, if I wanted more, with the next replacement (if I ever need to get one which seems doubtful) that it would cost $2.50. I told them how it wasn't right to send me something different than what is advertised in the installation video and tell me it could cost if I want it, again, AND how there are places that will install the shield, for you, but charge and THEY are the ones who have the spray. You definitely need to get the spray, if you want the installation to go well. Spray alot, on the shield and screen. This will help push the bits of debris, out. It's kind of like mopping. Also, don't plan on using your device, for 24-48 hours, after the installation. I turned it over to help get any of the spray, out, or from soaking in to the edges of the face.

Good product
I had a little trouble putting the screen protector on but eventually got it on my daughters tablet. It has done its job thus far.

Next time I'll have Best Buy install it
It's a great protector but a bear to install. I bought a Zagg phone screen protector and had Best Buy install it. I did this one myself and it is atrociously applied. Arggh. Pay them!

Works good once on!
Really hard to put on and too expensive to mess up. Worth every penny to have geek squad put it on for you. Had to buy 2. First one was defective! Bubbles and discolored/ yellowed.
