A: I think it would fit your needs. There's not a ton of memory but I deleted many apps that I wouldn't use since I use mine primarily for business and that gave me a lot more available memory. I love that the tablet can be separated from the keyboard and then you can even choose to keep it in windows mode if you want. And if memory is a problem you can add a micro SD card. The only drawbacks are that the USB port is on the keyboard portion so if you're using it as a tablet you have no USB port except for a mini. Also it's a little heavier than other tablets I've seen. A: This tablet supports 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN, and has Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connection for BT devices.
Q: Does the keyboard stay connected to the tablet wirelessly when detached?
A: No. You can however connect a wireless keyboard to the tablet portion via micro USB. The provided keyboard does not connect via Blue Tooth for some reason I haven't figured out yet. Once the Tablet portion is removed, it asks whether you want to switch to tablet mode which makes Windows more touch friendly. There is an on-screen touch keyboard that you can bring up in the tablet, similar to any other tablet. I have found that dealing with Windows in tablet mode is really cumbersome and takes a lot of retraining of your thought patterns. If I had it to do over, I would have probably gone to a system supported by Android.
Q: Can you install MS Office on this? i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
A: Yes with an external CD drive or online.

A: The battery is rated at 8 hours. This will depend on how it is being used, ie: light internet browsing versus audio or video streaming.
