The package of the item is great, the price of the display is amazing, hardly can beat it especially on a discount. It is my very first OLED display QD-OLED to be exact. Super punchy colors and inky blanks which I enjoy, setting it up to make it not look so washed is not a difficult process, but for the price there is some corners being cut to fit the budgeting. Some things I have noticed are Aimpoint for the center reticle for FPS shooters is very limited.. not really any good reticles for my personal preference when utilizing the features, sniperaim and other feature isn't allowed when the monitor is in its HDR400 setting, so it must be disabled which would throw off your settings for display and etc. Which is also not a good trade off, VRR is there and actively works with Nvidia and AMD but the VRR flicker can be notorious in darker scenes and worse if your hardware cannot keep above a solid framerate. This monitor does have a pixel refresh with shifting pixels slightly side to side at any different durations, if you have eagle eyes like mine you will notice it modestly in menus, it does also have a feature to calibrate the pixels every few hours or so, my issue is that if I left the monitor idle it will keep the menu to do so and say it will automatically do the feature but it does not, it'll keep the menu up asking to accept or decline which is a slight worry for burn in in the long term if you are a person that typically lets monitors idle such as myself. The pixel layout density itself does well for text reading, as good as OLED can currently do for now. I also did a grayscale test from 0% to 100% and didn't notice any strong banding within the display as well. Overall for the price point this is set and especially vert competitively priced during a discount you can't find any other QD-OLED display at a 280hz refresh for the price point this offers. Also the display glare can be washed for your inky blacks if this display does not get setup somewhere that sunlight glare can reach. I myself have this monitor set up in a gaming room that does not allow so much light in which gives me great detail when gaming in dark scenes, and the monitor does not get as bright as others could but it is acceptable.

I recently upgraded to the Acer Predator OLED, and honestly, it completely transformed my setup. The first thing that hit me was the picture quality. The blacks are true black, not that washed-out gray you get on other panels. Colors are insanely vibrant without looking artificial, and the contrast makes everything pop — whether I’m gaming, watching YouTube, or just browsing. HDR content especially looks unreal. For gaming, the response time and smoothness are next level. Motion clarity is ridiculously crisp, and paired with a high refresh rate, everything feels fluid and locked in. There’s zero ghosting, no weird blur — just clean, sharp frames. It genuinely feels like a competitive advantage. Build quality is solid too. The stand feels premium and stable, adjustments are smooth, and the overall design looks sleek without being over the top. It fits perfectly into a clean setup. If you’re on the fence about OLED — do it. Once you experience true blacks and that level of clarity, it’s really hard to go back to IPS or VA panels.

I'm going to be honest. This perspective is coming from someone who never owned a Oled before. This monitor is really nice; it feels high quality compared to my Samsung IPS monitor. The colors are indeed more vibrant, and blacks are really black and inky. The issue is that for full price I would not buy this. At first I thought there was going to be a mind-blowing difference, which unfortunately it was not, I am not saying that it isnt good im just saying that my IPS monitor at max saturation is on par with this monitor which is also saturated with settings on 70 on the color saturate setting menu, and as a matter a fact the blue hue on my IPS monitor might be more vibrant even with my blue and cyan saturate being at 70. Of course, I can intensify the colors even more, but it just looks unnatural. The reds however are much better on the Oled. As for HDR I'm not sure if it's an issue on my end but even with a DP cable and HDMI 2.1 port being enabled on windows it says that HDR certification not found. Which is strange because im pretty sure its HDR certified. Also, the HDR mode when turned on makes everything grayish/bland and eliminates the options to saturate colors and increase darks. I've tried trouble shooting for a while and even called the support line which did not work unfortunately. Overall, the Acer predator X27u WQHD QD-OLED 280hz is really good, as I mentioned before the blacks are really black and inky if you increase the settings for it of course and the colors are really nice once you saturate it. This monitor excels in darker environments, and the stand is high quality. However, for full price I will not buy this, only get this if it has a good discount. I got mine for 430 USD after tax. 8/10 not bad buy The pictures I sent Arnt as good as what the screens actually look like since I have an android, but you get the picture.

This is a great monitor, especially if you get it on sale. $400 for a 27" 280Hz 1440p QD-OLED that is not some off brand is incredible. The build quality is great. The base is sturdy and has plenty of maneuverability and adjustments - you will definitely be able to position this just how you want. There is not a "bezel" as far as some plastic frame BUT note that the visible image does NOT extend to the very edge, there is still a thin black space on either edge. So if you plan on placing two side-by-side for a type of "extended" desktop there will be a very noticeable gap down the middle. As to normal use, I do not notice this nor does it bother me. I did turn off all the protection features for the OLED because I got annoyed getting a popup to confirm the panel refresh while I was in the middle of gaming. I have the extended warranty and turn the monitor off each day so I'm not concerned. The HDR is also great on this monitor (at least for an unprofessional gamer), the colors are extremely vibrant and just "pop." The blacks are an absolute void.. like a blackhole in which there is no escape. In contrast the whites shine like the glory of God... And they coexist side-by-side with no ghosting or bleed... Truly a modern miracle. Text has never looked so crisp. Just buy it already!!

The Predator X27U is one of the better gaming panels I’ve used in recent years. As a former hardware and monitor reviewer, I tend to scrutinize motion handling and panel behavior pretty hard, and this QD-OLED delivers. Clarity is outstanding. Even compared to many 360 Hz LCD esports monitors, the perceived motion definition here is cleaner thanks to OLED’s near-instantaneous pixel response. At 280 Hz with a 0.03 ms response time, there is virtually no smearing or overshoot tuning games to work around. Motion looks natural, not artificially sharpened. Color volume and contrast are where it separates itself. Blacks are truly black, and HDR highlights have excellent pop within the DisplayHDR 400 envelope. Text rendering and uniformity are solid for a QD-OLED layout as well. One limitation: in a bright room with direct sunlight, the screen can feel a bit dim. It performs best in controlled lighting where the contrast advantage is fully realized. If you primarily game in a reasonably lit environment and care about motion clarity and contrast performance, this is an easy recommendation.

I had a nice monitor before; 144hz, 1440p, IPS, but this blows it away. The 280hz is insanely smooth, it makes my old monitor feel slow now. HDR on the OLED is breathtaking, i played Resident Evil Requiem on it and holy crap it was stunning. The OLED care is a little annoying, every few hours itasks to do a pixel xleaning that takeslike 5 mins and it goes black while it does it. About black going grey if light shines on the screen; it definitely happens but its not as bad as people online make it out to be. I had it side by side with other screens and while it did go the greyest, all of them got atleast a little grey anf the reflections are dimmer than the ones on my phone. I lived in florida and my window got the morning sun, so that's the worst case and it sisnt bother me mucj, closing the blinds fixed it while keeping the room comfortably bright. I don't have great pictures and I moved so mu monitor is in box right now, but i can show you it' super clear, i've also got one of my old monitor amd you can see the difference. I always knew OLED was the future but now ive started upgrading other devices for it. If you can get this monitor you won'rt regret it.

I’m very impressed with this monitor. The QD-OLED panel looks incredible — colors are very vibrant, blacks are truly black, and everything looks sharp at 1440p. The 280Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time make gaming extremely smooth, especially for fast games like FPS and competitive titles.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the Acer Predator X27U so far. The QD-OLED panel looks incredible in person with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and amazing contrast that makes games and movies look much better than my old IPS monitor. HDR content especially stands out, and the 280Hz refresh rate combined with the 0.03ms response time makes gameplay feel incredibly smooth and responsive. The motion clarity is excellent in fast-paced games like shooters and racing games, and the 1440p resolution is a perfect balance between visual quality and performance. Text clarity and desktop use were also better than I expected for an OLED panel. The monitor feels very premium overall and the stand is sturdy with good adjustment options. Another thing I liked is how easy it was to set up. The on-screen menu is simple to navigate, and FreeSync worked without issues right away. The monitor also stays cooler and quieter than I expected during long gaming sessions.

Awesome monitor, colors are vibrant. OLED is doing amazing with the shadows something I’ve been missing with ips panel monitors especially with the new resident evil game the oled truly take advantage of deep shadows and it immerses you into what your doing it’s awesome! The bad is every hour or two it asks to do a screen refresh the pop up message is transparent so won’t throw you off in a game but doesn’t disappear after any amount of time so if your comfy in a chair you have to manually get up and press the no don’t refresh the screen for six minutes option- so very tedious Now a way around that is to turn off oled panel care and in that of itself it’s a problem cause now you’ll worry about oled burn in so you win some lose some But this could all be solved if they update the firmware to have the message disappear after say 20-30 seconds or even set your own timer in settings for it and that would improve having this thing so much taking it form 8/10 to 10/10 Still would recommend this though as the colors and quality is just so good for the price Use it for blender animation, sculpting, gaming, and watching shows

I have had this Monitor for 60 days now and it has been excellent. I really like the different color modes it provides and the amount of customization you can do to fine tune the picture/color quality to your liking. Personally, I use the DCI color mode because i like the extra contrast and saturation it provides. If you don’t like messing with settings, out of the box will be good as well so no worries there. In the picture, the acer predator is the one in the middle, while the vertical monitor on the left is the old one I used (LG, IPS 165hz 1440p). The picture shows the color differences and viewing angels(the contrast on the acer is not that extreme in person, the camera is not doing it justice haha), it is truly a big difference and I cant be happier. Also the blacks are deep and look beautiful!

This Predator X27U is absolutely impressive. The QD-OLED panel delivers vibrant colors and true blacks, and HDR400 looks great in games and movies. Was in the market for a new monitor, was not planning on getting an Oled due to the prices on them. But when I saw that it was on sale for $399 I could not let that pass by and OMG I do not regret it just one bit! The Acer predator compliments my PC so well. The Solid black and amazing color depiction it gives is so worth it. Definitely won’t be going back to a regular monitor! Oled is the way.

good color, really bright. the stand is pretty big so be aware of that since its a decent size and weight. upgraded from a normal 1080 monitor and its been nice

This screen was purchased to use with a Mac Studio in place of the Apple Retina Display. The Acer Predator X27U OLED is a super great screen. The 280Hz refresh rate is awesome for video editing. It displays true black perfectly and overall colors are so accurate. For the price point thus screen is probably one of the best you can get

For the price point along with the amazing refresh rate, it’s one of the best options if you want to begin your time as a Oled connoisseur. I think it’s an amazing monitor. My only gripe with it is that I can’t find a aftermarket monitor arm to use.

Compared to my old alienware IPS panel the Oled colors are more vibrant and the blacks are pitch black with no light bleeds. Got it for $430 before tax and was a great visual upgrade from my alienware monitor. Only gripe I have is the max brightness for during the day other than that it performs amazing in dark spaces.

Great budget QD-OLED monitor. The original v1 of this monitor the X27U has the same OLED panel as the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, LG 27GR95QE-B, and Corsair XENEON 27QHD240. I believe this monitor to be the same panel but with updated internals. It looks great.

The screen is very clean and crisp. The box was a little damaged when picked up which made me nervous but havent had any problems with it so far and i use it daily for several hours at times. A great oled monitor at a discounted price well worth it in my opinion. The stand is a little large so I had to get an arm for it. Very good specs at a good price definitely recommend.
