the WIFI capability disappeared. I troubleshooted using AI, Had my IT dept at work check it, called in for support at Best Buy and they said I needed to bring it into Geek squad. Took off work only to be told yeah it's missing but no warranty through Best Buy and to contact the 3rd party vendor. They tried to get me to buy a $200 membership but said it was going to be a costly repair. Then the vendor say no warranty and too late to return or exchange it. This page clearly says all refurbished products come with a warranty (attaching screen shot). I looked for that before I purchased it. So I bought here thinking Best Buy is a trusted name and I have numerous times over the years. Now, I am being given the run around and nobody will honor the warranty the item detail page mentions. The issue is believed to be the motherboard isn't reading the wifi chip. So I have to plug in to use the ethernet at work but I can't at home. Over $400 on a computer to only have all the features offered work for 6 weeks that was rated by them to be in Excellent condition. ANd no apparent recourse other than this review. I had to buy a computer for work my last one died and $400 is no small amount for me! SO disappointed in Best Buy. But hey just a $ to them and they can afford to ignore people like me hurt in the process.
