It does not make zero turns, so it doest pick all debris - Also the suction is just okay- and the app is not easy to setup. Going back to the coded dolphin natius. Same price better results.

I have a freeform concrete Pebbletech pool with a lot of rounded edges and I have spent the last month and a half trying out various cordless pool vacuum robots. After my corded Polaris Robot bit the dust after 4 years, I wanted to try something without a cord since the layout of my pool makes a corded option cumbersome. I started out with the Dreame Z1, which I actually really liked. The remote control was a cool way to be able to operate it while under water since WiFi doesn’t’ work underwater (for any robot). Unfortunately, it kept getting stuck on my raised intakes in the deep end. It was unable to work itself free and just was not going to be an option for my style of pool. The pattern and cleaning power worked great and with some design tweaks along the bottom of this robot, I think it would be a strong contender! After returning the Dreame, I purchased the Beatbot Aquasense 2. After the first run I knew that I was not going to keep it. It left a lot of debris behind, missed a lot of spots, and just did not perform well in my pool. I then purchased the Aiper Scuba N1 from Best Buy. I ran it the first time with the high density filter attachment and couldn’t believe the sand and debris that it sucked up! It didn’t get hung up on the pool drains for more than a few seconds and, though doesn’t follow any clear pattern while cleaning, seemed to do a GREAT job cleaning my pool. I’ve seen several positive reviews online and was pleased with this purchase. So I thought, if the N1 (sister to the S1) is this good, the X1 must be even better! So, I ordered the Aiper Scuba X1 directly from Aiper’s website since it was the best deal. It is significantly heavier than the S1, but with the dual brushes and more technology this didn’t bother me. I dropped it in the pool and off it went climbing the wall and seemingly doing a good job. It also has the fine filter option and I ran it on that. After observing the inaugural run of the X1, my excitement turned to disappointment as I watched it get stuck on the pool light, the pool drains and the edges of my curved steps and other curved edges. I was pleased to see that it would eventually work itself free from all of these, it would take a long time. It took almost 3 minutes to work its way loose from the drains and never was able to conquer climbing over the pool light. It last right at 2 hours, which is actually less than the N1 does in my pool. I could see this causing unnecessary wear and tear on the robot AND the edges of my pool and drains. In the first run of the X1, I did it in “S-shaped” cleaning path and it would get stuck in a “loop” going over the same spots over and over and then when it finally got out of it it would miss wide swaths of ground. It the second run I did the “Adaptive Path” which is more of a random cleaning, which did better, but still got stuck on drains and ledges for extended amounts of time. Also, the basket is way to porous without the fine filter on it. I reached out to Aiper and they were very responsive. I gave them all of the information that they requested and at the end of the day I decided that this robot was not ideal for my pool, though for a rectangle shaped pool, I think that it would be a great option! I have landed on keeping the N1 (aka S1) as it does a great job and doesn’t get stuck on the drains and does a great job for my pool shape. In a couple of years, I will be anxious to see how they continue to progress, but for now, I highly recommend the Scuba N1 or S1, especially at their price point!

The main goal when buying it was to clean all the dust and small debris at the bottom of the pool. It does so brilliantly. I truly recommend it.

So disappointed. Wouldn't climb my walls at all. Bought the Mova pool robot and it was 10 times better.

We're sorry to hear that your Scuba N1 Plus didn't climb your pool walls as expected, OscarP. We understand how disappointing that can be, especially after trying another robot that worked better for you.
Here are some common reasons why wall climbing may not work properly. Please check the following:
1. Battery level – Wall climbing is only performed in Wall mode or Mixed mode when the battery is above 50% (power indicator light is blue). If the battery is low, the robot will focus on floor cleaning only.
2. Filter basket blockage – A clogged filter basket can reduce water spray and suction, preventing wall climbing. Please clean the filter basket and filter thoroughly first.
3. Pool wall material – If the wall is too smooth (e.g., smooth tiles), the friction between the device and the wall may be insufficient for climbing.
4. Pool shape – If the angle between the wall and floor is less than 90°, or if there is an arched structure, or the robot is in a corner with no force point, it may not be able to climb.
5. Roller brush entanglement – Check if any foreign objects (hair, string, etc.) are wrapped around the roller brush. Clean them and try again.
6. Manual roller brush test – Turn off the device and manually turn the roller brush. There should be some resistance. If there is no resistance, the walking motor may be faulty.
7. Water spray test – Lift the device to the water surface and observe the water spray. The spray height should be >0.3m. If not, the drainage motor may be faulty.
If you've gone through these steps and the robot still won't climb, please send your purchase details and a short video showing the behavior to our support team at service@aiper.com. We'll be happy to take a closer look and assist with warranty if needed.
Thank you for giving Aiper a try. We're here to help.

Trees and bushes drop small leaves in the pool all summer. Would never vacuum everyday until now. Pool looks beautiful everyday.

It doesn’t do a very good job of getting the leafs off the bottom of the pool. Also, when it dies, it doesn’t die in the spot you put it in. So if you don’t have the hook handy and it goes into the deep end you’re going for a swim. I don’t think this is a great product and I would not recommend.

We are very sorry for your unpleasant experience with our cordless robotic pool cleaner, Scuba N1 Plus. Its net weight is 7.9 kg/17.4 lbs. Since it has a quick water release function, when the machine is low on power and docked closest along with the wall, you could use the retrieval hook to salvage it ashore without much effort. For dirty swimming pools, your device may need to be fully cleaned several times, and the filter will become clogged. Please clean the filter and let the device work more times. For swimming pools with complex bottom structures, your device may not be able to clean all areas at once. Please use it to clean the entire pool several times, and then manually clean the areas not covered by the device, like dead corners. Should you need any other assistance, please feel free to contact our customer support via email at service@aiper.com. We are always ready to help. <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/AIPER.png" alt="AIPER" title="AIPER" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

This pool cleaner was a disappointment. It failed to clean the pool properly, even after multiple attempts. It spent most of its time loitering in the deep end without covering other areas, and then the battery would die before the job was done. For the price, the performance is simply not worth it. Therefore, I returned it.
