    Disappointed

    There were several things that bothered me about this product, especially for night time use. I was surprised to find that you can't turn off the lights of this machine if it's not on sleep mode (or in auto mode, if the room lighting is low). Every time you press the power button there's a beeping sound. The first two fan speeds aren't so loud, but the last two are loud. I can't sleep well at night if the lights of the machine are on and the fan is set on the high settings. I could set it to the lower settings but it seems to me that it will cover the whole room on a higher setting. That brings me to my next issue. There's no way of telling how much space this air purifier is covering. Is it covering the square footage it claims? I can't tell how much ozone this machine is releasing into my room from the ionizer and I also can't tell if it's cleaning my air. The zapping noises are annoying and keep me up at night. This seems to happen more often when the air is dry and the machine is dirty. You have to clean the machine to get rid of that zapping noise. But I had to do that about every month. The only thing I like about it is that it has a washable filter. It's great that they're reducing waste with their product but I was disappointed at the inner packaging it was shipped on (styrofoam and thin plastic bags).
