I own other pairs of high-end, high-impedance headphones, but I keep coming back to the AKG 240 MKII's. They portray the music beautifully and have the right amount of bass so that the deepest notes (think: trombones, double basses) get their full due. I use them with streaming audio and a headphone amp; with CD players; and with office computers and MP3s. Lightweight and robust, they do it all, and do all exceptionally well. For my daily listening, I couldn't do without these faithful gems!
