Q: Can autofocus be turned off for the Aluratek 2K webcam?
A: It's unfortunate that it cannot be turned off. Every application I use this for (Zoom, Touchcast, etc) gets this camera into major autofocus crisis. It perpetually focuses in and out and never settles on the subject. It's VERY annoying when doing a live webcast, as I am constantly coming in and out of focus. Never mind doing any sort of up-close demonstration with this camera. Wasted $119 on this product. Threw the box away just a little too early for this product.

Customer service is prompt
Webcam picture quality good. Mic is good. Attachment to computer screen works but is NOT secure. Definitely could have done better at the attachment. Install is easy but NO instructions so i had to call the company for help. Customer service was prompt and answered question

Perfect for Vloggers
I am ONLY giving 4 stars because it took forever to ship and when I looked for it oline, I had to get assistance from customer service to locate my order. Ask me service did apologise for the technical issue and let me know exactly when to expect my package, which was the next day. Camera is amazing, super clear quality and microphone sounds. I am a new Blogger and this is the perfect addition to my set up, I haven't had any issues yet. It's super easy to set up, and there even some fun background choices as well. I clipped this to the top of my macbook pro. Never felt like it would fall off on its own!

I love the background options! Great quality
I am really impressed with the quality on this camera. It will really improve my online meeting presence since the one in my laptop is really bad quality. I really like the feature to blur or change your background on Skype. And the size is just right not too big not too small. I am only giving it 4 stars because I still like the camera on the IPad better. But this is certainly a great addition to my meeting seetup!
