Good AC. Easy to install. Cools room on low setting. There was no drainage hole on the bottom of AC which may cause a noise to occur when running for awhile.

I really have benefited from this little AC unit. It's been a blessing in the hot Georgia summers. Not too loud, the air is cold, and the energy consumption is minimal.

This is a good unit but I would recommend treating the spec (250 sq ft) as too optimistic. I put this in a room that's smaller than that and it just manages to keep it cool. Knock 25 - 30% off the published spec and it's probably right. It runs pretty quiet.

I bought this air conditioner in June. Love it. It's not too loud and has a remote to control settings. If you don't want to use the air conditioning there's a fan.

So far it’s been good. Just wish it was a bit stronger

I have always had good luck with Amana appliances. They seem to be built alongside whirlpool and maybe kenmore, if you're into that sears&roebuck company that appears to be almost a memory. This AC unit is small and effective and is filled with a proper little condenser and associated coolant. We've run it for a few weeks off and on with no problems in a 220sq ft room on 72degs. It's worked great. We've seen ambient temps of low 90's lately so not a big test. I do have to say that the accessories and extra insulating foam that came with this unit was above and beyond other units I have purchased (e g. The GE model also here at Best Buy). I expect to get at least four to five years out of this unit (much like the kenmore unit I have run for four to five years).

Works very well in small to medium room. Ice locker. For the money, you won't find better. Be sure to unplug the rubber drain hole cover (easily missed) which is there part of the unit that hangs outside the window to help the unit drain unwanted water build inside the unit. Remove plug before installing. Only rubber piece towards the back bottom of the unit. Doesn't use much energy.

I love the remote control from my bed to increase or decrease the fan or temperature. I love that i can program it in the morning to start up automatically in the evening. It's not quiet or loud but it works hard on my third floor bedroom to keep it cool. Small enough to insert and set up, but it's a hefty machine. PRice was perfect

It is a great air-conditioner, but not for the bedroom, unless you get up with the sun. When the sun comes up, it hits the top of the air-conditioner where the sun shines on through the white foam air ducts inside. The result inside is a partially lit room. The low noise level is good as well.

This Amana Air Conditioner is light and appears well built. It does an excellent job of cooling down my 10X12 TV room. The air filter rattles a bit but pulling it out about 3/8" resolved the problem. The unit comes with accordion wings but I elected to use four inch high density (squishy) foam to seal the gaps between the window frame and air conditioner. This is much easier to install and provides a superb thermal barrier. Please note that this is a narrow unit designed to fit smaller windows. Measure twice and order once...

Awesome ac for the price. I wish it was smart technology. Other than that best ac out there for the price remote is quick responsive built in thermostat works amazing. I have owned amana products in the past never had an issue. Owned an old amana ac for almost 30 yrs sold it for 25$.still going. Great buy get one for yourself.

Would have provided a better review, but had to un-install the unit once already due to excessive water draining from the unit. It appeared that the plug on the bottom of the unit popped off in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the plug was located on the exterior side of the unit. Price is good and it appears to be working as expected otherwise. Will see as I've only had the unit up and running for about a month.

We bought 2 of these last summer for our daughter's apartment. They did the job well. Easy to install. Easy to remove at the end of the summer. Came with all the parts. Nice looking. Fairly quiet compared to some others.

Cools down a room in a few minutes, glad I got rid of the fan and for this instead. Enjoy using it, has a sleeping future, which lets you set a timer for how long you want it on. Not too loud, and fits an average window just fine!

This Amana was purchased for living room. It was easy to install and very quiet while running. The cost made it very affordable.

This is my second year of using this ac unit in my bedroom. It is a great cooling ac unit and is also energy efficient so it wont cost an arm and a leg to run

Quiet effective air conditioner with a high energy rating. I like the fact that it has auto shutoff once the selected temperature is met.
