Nicolas Dupuis is never far from home. As Anomalie, the shape-shifting production project he unveiled in 2016, Dupuis has channeled his musical upbringing (his mother, a piano teacher; his father, a host on Radio-Canada), formal schooling, and stage-seasoned chops into two companion EPs - Metropole and Metropole II - the Chromeo collaboration Bend the Rules, and a series of singles lighting a pathway to his upcoming long-form debut, Galerie. Galerie's forward-facing approach may call to mind a timeless phrase familiar to any jazzhead The Shape of Jazz to Come. Ornette Coleman's 1959 opus re-configured traditional notions of harmonic structure, it's title and content serving as both a blueprint and open question for progressive music's future. With Dupuis' reverent but revolutionary project, that answer is no longer in the past or on the horizon; it's here. InchGalerie is a collection of musical canvases that represent my rediscovery of what it means to be excited about making music,Inch Dupuis explains. InchI haven't had access to a real piano since I was a teenager and so the upright I got last summer plays a central role in this project, both as a creative and a sonic tool but also as an actual source of inspiration and a means to tell a story through melodies and harmony. Lastly, this is my first project to feature several collaborators and each one of them brought their own creative universe along with them, which was incredibly inspiring to witness.Inch Album Tracks 1. Lune (Feat. Mateus Asato) 2. Dribble 3. Mollo 4. Bond 5. Come Running to Me 6. Generations (Feat. Shad) 7. Hummingbird (Feat. Bad Snacks) 8. Memory Leaves (Feat. Masego) 9. Untouchable (Feat. India Carney) 10. Leiria (Feat. Mael)

Having dropped their third album Choir Of Babel in early 2020 just before the world shut down, the forces of pandemic did not succeed in silencing NYC's Ruin Lust for good. Though confined to their fallout bunker, the band, with martial fervor, began work on what has now, three years later, emerged as their fourth album Dissimulant. In the final phase of imperialist rot, Ruin Lust declares war against the festering delusions of a devolving species. The most withering aspects of modern death metal, grinding war metal and black metal's more bestial tendencies compel this audial exorcism, poisoning the well like a bioweapon spread through open air, suffocating and contemptuous. By the time album closer InchChemical WindInch is done, all that remains are parched bones and desiccated shadows.Barbarically pestilent yet compositionally deliberate, Dissimulant casts a bitter pall and leaves an open wound on the death metal scene for 2023. A militant milestone in the Ruin Lust discography. Album Tracks 1. 1. Eden 2. 2. Imperium 3. 3. Clinamen 4. 4. Thrall 5. 5. Dissimulant 6. 6. Purge 7. 7. Infinite Regress 8. 8. Chemical Wind
