Does this hook up to the main power box to power the whole home?

It is not designed as a whole-home backup solution, and we do not recommend connecting it to a manual transfer switch or main breaker panel for outage backup. Based on typical power usage: Light: around 20W TV: around 120W Fan: around 30W That gives a total load of about 170W. I have an electric car; can I charge it there?

F3800 only has 3840Wh battery capacity and it can only be as emmergency back up Before charging your EV, make sure to set the charge current to 25A (or less) on your EV settings or EV charger. The Anker Solix F3800 does not support more than 25A charge current.
