I had an ipad pro 12.9 4th Gen and upgraded to this one. And quite honestly, the older pro model with an A12Z chip is somehow still more powerful than this one. I mainly use it for watching movies and playing games at work as well as general surfing as I don’t really have a computer anymore. Compared to the (older) pro model, it actually has problems with the frame rate of some of the games I play. There’s too much lag unless I force shut down other programs including the one I’m playing. The older pro didn’t have any issues with it bogging down when I play games. So, if you’re looking to upgrade from a 4th gen pro, stay with it. Or if you’re looking to purchase one, get a used/refurbished one as it would still be better than this one. It still get’s a four since it’s still a good system, but definitely not at the price point it’s at compared to an older pro system.

The iPad has always been a good tablet, it needed a better OS to become great, multi-tasking, keeping apps on while doing other tasks, this makes this a great tablet and a great laptop/desktop replacement. The hardware is great, the display, the CPU, RAM, all great, I don't use the camera much, phones and dedicated cameras are always a better option for me, as a hobby photographer, I wanted a better than the normal editing apps, a more PC like lightroom and photoshop, that still not here. Battery is not bad, but power users like me use it fast.
