Remote management with school district
Could not get past the Remote management with school district. BestBuy needs to do better with product verifications before selling

Good deal but with caveats.
Good price for a good-performing machine. I do Illustrator/Photoshop all day, this machine is fine, though I’ve ordered a RAM upgrade to max it out. Be advised: As with other reviewer, my machine was not wiped, it still had a login for a school district and there really isn’t a way around that, even via command-prompt. I ordered a USB install stick with the Monterey OS. This isn’t all bad: an institutional user like a school typically takes good care of the gear, the unit is in pristine condition. Accessories are cheap-o Macally mouse and KB, wired, acceptable quality. Good price/performance, but be prepared to do legwork if yours hasn’t been properly refurbished. Look to Etsy for sellers who can get you a bootable USB with current OS.
