Good price for a good-performing machine. I do Illustrator/Photoshop all day, this machine is fine, though I’ve ordered a RAM upgrade to max it out. Be advised: As with other reviewer, my machine was not wiped, it still had a login for a school district and there really isn’t a way around that, even via command-prompt. I ordered a USB install stick with the Monterey OS. This isn’t all bad: an institutional user like a school typically takes good care of the gear, the unit is in pristine condition. Accessories are cheap-o Macally mouse and KB, wired, acceptable quality. Good price/performance, but be prepared to do legwork if yours hasn’t been properly refurbished. Look to Etsy for sellers who can get you a bootable USB with current OS.

Opening it, I loved it. No scratches and definitely brand new feeling for a pre owned one. Size was great too. Obviously the mouse could’ve felt more up to date and the keyboard was pretty for it being corded. Everything was great until I started actually using it. It just runs a little too slow for my liking. My 75 y/o father didn’t mind it but I would just switch users and it would take at least two minutes for it to log off and then try to get to the switch user screen. Even trying to open up a new app takes a couple of minutes for the computer to think. If you don’t mind the lag, I def recommend especially for the price.

Good performance, the only thing was the memory wasn't enough for design/photography softwares. It was so slow, takes 5 minutes to start. I add it 32g and works good now. The graphics are perfect. Overall good.

Crystal clear image! Fast, reliable, no issues at all. Being refurbished I was skeptical but turned out to be awesome! 5k MAC for a fraction of the price, no chips, scratches either.

Works fast for everyday use. I mostly use it to watch videos online like Youtube and Netflix. Startup is fast and I can open multiple apps with no problem. I can open a lot of videos (not that I need to) with no problem. I like to multitask.

Even though it’s a 2017 and refurbished, it works great! Connected to my wifi and did all the updates with no problems. It also came with a keyboard and mouse which wasn’t apple. For the price, it should have came with a better keyboard and mouse. The keyboard works half the time and the mouse is flimsy and also only works half the time. In addition, not being able to put a protection plan on it makes me worry. So if it does by chance kick the bucket I’m screwed.

The computer is great, and is exactly what I needed and expected. The mouse and key board are pure junk! Although I haven't used it a lot, I can tell you the right side shift key does not work. The pinwheel on the Mose is archaic!! All in all, an OK deal?

Bought refurbished imac best buy web site, product information states 1 year parts and labor warranty, after 2 months computer has problems, take to best buy geek squad now saying no warranty even show where on web site states 1 year warranty, geek squad says no warranty. Very bad service and false information on web site

I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I can’t believe this is a “refurbished”computer?! So much faster and smoother than my old 2009 iMac! It also had more ram in it than listed which was a nice surprise! I really love Best Buy for making this kind of purchase available since I was unable to afford a brand new computer.

Computer arrived quickly and looks brand new! This thing is a work of art and was easy to set up. Best part is that it was WAY cheaper than a new one and does what I need it to do. The screen is crisp and looks huge compared to my MacBook screen. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great refurbished iMac! Since purchasing this iMac, we have not had any issues with it.
