This device operates like brand new. My fingerprint works very fast in comparison to my old iPad mini 4. The response time and video quality is exceptional!!!! I would buy another refurbished device from Geek Squad without hesitation!!!!!

Bought this for my daughter so she could takes notes in college. She has enjoyed it very much. I've had zero problems with it being a refurbished unit.

I ordered this refurbished ipad because it still has the home button and the curved edges for ease of holding (more recent ipads--awful). However, when it arrived, the home button seemed off--like it's crunchy (not at all like my iphone). Then I discovered that the only way to determine if there is an issue is to return it and order a new one, and I only have 14 days to do it (today). Plus the price has gone up. I should have paid more attention to the return policy when I bought it, but I didn't think I'd get sent something defective. And the item would have to be returned to a store or shipped back today. I have always shopped at Best Buy because I appreciate the fact that they recycle electronics, and their customer service has been decent. But I'm not going to take this kind of risk again.

The screen is better than the next gen model and smoother in landscape mode. Camera very good and overall a good experience with this device
