The iPad Mini is a great addition to apple line of products. This tablet provides ease of you with its portable size and design. This device can easily be used by a family of all ages. The built-in camera takes very good pictures and the front facing camera is great for video chat! This device is also great for streaming homemade videos and photos taken on the iPad with the Apple TV product. Siri the built in virtual assistant makes pretty much every task a breeze like sending emails, iMessages, setting reminders and calendar invites! I would definitely recommend theiPad Mini to parents, students, and individuals of all ages!

I traded in my iPad 3 for the iPad Mini. Was contemplating for months on whether to get the iPad Air or Mini. Finally decided to go small. When I compared the home screen with the iPhone and older iPad 3 I do see that the Mini's color is not as vibrant. But it's a small difference and would only notice if you were looking for it. I did see two dead pixels, the first dead pixels I have see on an Apple's product. Again, not a deal breaker. Pros Size Weight Resolution Speed - faster than iPad 3 Cons Price went up from the original Mini Can't buy unlock cellular version for international travel at Best Buy. They only sell those at Apple. No flash light Speakers are not as loud as the iPad 3 which was a bit disappointing

I love the iPad Mini 2. I got the 64gb because I wanted enough room to have some videos downloaded since we only got the Wifi version. Our daughters love theirs too. I have no complaints so far. Battery life is great compared to my iPhone 4S. I was worried the screen would be too small and I would regret not getting the larger iPad version. But it's a great size. It's easier to bring places and easier to hold. I also like that you can use it upside down, unlike my iPhone 4S. I do that when I'm in bed and have it plugged in because I don't want to ruin the lightning plug (like my iPhone one that is destroyed from bending). Also, I got it at a GREAT price. It was a one-day sale and I'm so glad I decided to do it because the prices went back up the next day. NO REGRETS HERE.

I upgraded from the first Ipad version that had the Retina screen, because it was starting to be a little slow with the latest software upgrades, and I was running out of storage. I wasn't sure if I would be happy with the smaller screen, but after using for about a month, I am very happy with it. The light weight makes it much nicer to hold and use as a reader, and I don't find the smaller screen to be a problem for anything I use it for. I carry this in a backpack with a 14" laptop, and was surprised how noticeable the weight savings was when switching to this model. My only significant complaint is that Apple charges such a premium for increased storage capacity. I went with the 64GB because I was about out of space on my 32 GB model, and just couldn't justify the price of the 128GB.

Purchased a 64GB iPad mini with retina screen to upgrade my wife's original mini which had been slowing down under iOS 8. After I saw Apple introduce only minor improvements in the iPad mini 3 I rushed to BB to find this model on a deep discount. We've been very happy with it. Much faster than original mini and the screen looks great. Perfect size for my wife and I don't mind using it either. We are an Apple family and this new mini fills all our needs. Very happy with it and would strongly recommend this model, especially if you can find a left over iPad mini with retina display (now called iPad mini 2) at a good price.

Really enjoy the size of the mini, the picture is so clear and the camera is great.

I have used most tablets this size and yes this wins hands down. The fire, galaxy, nook, google, all are ok but this is just in a league of its own. It's basically an oversized iPhone and perfect size. The iPad Air to me is too big, so this is the perfect size. The official apple case although expensive too, is the best case for it as well. I waited out a year and skipped the first mini because of no retina display, it was def worth he wait. Such a huge difference from the regular non retina to this. It's pricier than other tablets at this size, but you get what you pay for. I got he 64GB non cellular and just tether it with my cell phones internet when I need it online. No need to pay an extra $130 for that cellular antenna.

I already had an Iphone, so I was already familiar with the idea of how it all works, but I am amazed at how crystal clear everything looks. It is so easy to use the apps since they are bigger and everything is easier to see. My family has been watching me have fun with it and is also buying it!

I only used this tablet for about a month. I upgraded from the first generation IPad and found it quite an upgrade. It was lighter and slimmer in size. The speed and response of it was also upgraded. However, when I tried out the newer iPad Mini, I was immediately blown away by its high retina display which this iPad did not include. I was still within my return window and I decided to return it and get the iPad Mini with high retina display, simply because of its dramatically noticeable display. I forgot to mention that Best Buy bought back my iPad one and gave me a gift card in which I used toward the purchase of this iPad.

Great value. The new mini 3 adds only a finger print sensor, and another color option. Not worth a hundred dollars more then the mini 2. Use that hundred for more GB. The size is great, plenty big still for surfing web playing games and watching movies, plus now i can touch anywhere on the screen still while holding it with my hands on each side, I can reach any part of the screen with my left or right thumb with out having to let go of one side or the other, this makes using it while laying back in bed a pleasure. No more holding with one hand while tapping with my finger on the other hand. This becomes magnified even more when playing games. Some games I would have to play on a table to be able to competitively hit all the buttons(virtual) or whatever was required for the game. Not anymore, perfect size for gaming. I have had the ipad 2 and 4, this mini 2 is my favorite by far.

I needed a smaller form factor than the regular sized iPad to use in the cockpit. This iPad mini 2 has all the performance of the full size model without the bulk. I found it to be very easy to see even in full sunlight. It also ran all of my flying apps effortlessly. It definitely met my expectations and I have used it for many hours of flying in all kinds of conditions. Another excellent product from Apple!

This was a Mothers day gift for my wife so that I could reclaim my iPad. She is not technical but has no problem using this device. She loves it. In fact I think I would prefer the mini over my iPad 2.

A typical, high quality product from Apple. Retina screen provides beautiful picture quality. I would highly recommend this product for anyone that wants a compact version of the iPad.

I had an iPad 2, but wanted something smaller to take with me when I travel. This is the perfect size, and fits in my purse. The retina display is beautiful.

I waited an extra year for the Ipad Mini to be released with retina display - well worth the wait. The Mini has all the features of my full-size Ipad but it fits more easily into my purse for portabiity. I also own an Ipod Touch, but of the three products, my new mini is now my first go-to tablet. Performance is excellent, battery life is good -- another great Apple product.

After using my iPod for so long using the mini was very easy to get used to. I absolutely love it. It is lightweight and holds like a book.

I gave this to my grandson for his birthday, and he is thrilled with it. I had the opportunity to put it through its paces, and it blows the previous iPad mini out of the water. I have that model and still love it, but this model is head and shoulders better. The screen quality os stellar, it is much peppier and the battery life is much imrproved.

I like this iPad in particular due to the fact of its size and portability. The iPad Mini retina display is simply amazing. Also, the upgraded processor makes it a super capable tablet that will run any sort of app smoothly, just like the iPad Air. If you are the kind of person who is always on the move for work this is the tablet for you.

If you're looking to get a tablet for someone who just wants to play games, read books or watch videos, this is a great tablet. It still takes longer to do simple tasks than it would on other platforms though, and is priced much higher than other tablets with competitive specs. Still, this tablet is optimized for the hardware made so it runs well. Easiest tablet to use if you're not going to be doing anything technical. Wonderful stuff!
