This review is coming from someone who owned an iPhone XR before. I’m going to start off with saying this iPhone is probably the best money you can spend on a newer iPhone. It has most of the features of the 14 and 15 but it’s significantly cheaper and is still only 2 years old. I’m guessing this phone will get updated for at least 4-5 years. I upgraded from an iPhone XR and this has a lot of improvement. Double the storage for the base model (64GB vs 128), better resolution, OLED screen vs LCD, MagSafe, wide angle camera, and night mode. The 13 has the same size screen as the XR (6.1”) but this phone feels a tad bit smaller since the the corners are squared not rounded and the bezels are smaller. The 13 with a case feels like the same size as the XR without a case. Perfect size for me as the XR was just slightly too big. The notch on this phone is a little smaller too. Doesn’t make a big difference most of the time but it gives you slightly more screen in games and videos. Also the notification icons like LTE, WiFi, clock, and battery meter are slightly larger since they have more room. The 13’s battery lasts a little bit longer than the XR but that is partially because my old XR had 83% battery health. Having said that battery was never a big issues with me on my older iPhone and the 13 is little better so no complaints about the battery from me. This phone has basically the same camera setup, screen size, and body as the base 14 and 15 but it has one thing they’re missing. A physical sim slot. Not a huge issue for me but it made activating this phone easy. I have Cricket so I just swapped out my sim and put it in this phone. No issues and it immediately started working. No need to pay an upgrade fee in store or anything. Final thoughts. The 13 is probably good for anyone with an older LCD iPhone or someone who wants MagSafe and/or better camera options. I would probably say a good upgrade for the 11 or older. If your current phones lacks a good nighttime camera or wide angle this is a nice upgrade. If you have a 11Pro, or 12 it might not be worth it since the upgrades are smaller but this is still a very good iPhone for around $600.

Recently upgraded from the iPhone 11 The iPhone 13 is a better phone than the iPhone 11 in every aspect. It has a sleek and attractive design, the OLED screen is brighter and has amazing color accuracy. As far as performance it feels significancy faster then its predecessor, great camera, amazing battery life. The iPhone 13 is also faster in terms of data speed due to its 5G connectivity. The 11 is still a great phone, definitely my favorite iPhone, but in my personal opinion it’s a little outdated. The iPhone 13 was definitely worth the upgrade for anyone looking for a great phone.

I was hesitant to upgrade. I thought my older phone was “good enough.” But wow, was I wrong. The moment I unboxed this iPhone, the premium build and sleek design had me hooked. But it wasn’t just looks. The camera is next-level—crisp, vibrant, even in low light. I took a sunset shot on vacation that looked like it came out of a magazine. I use my phone for work, social, photography, and editing—and this one handles it all effortlessly. The battery lasts all day, even with heavy use, and the display is stunning. I never realized how smooth 120Hz scrolling would feel until now. I also appreciate the small things: Face ID is faster, the speakers are loud and clear, and iOS feels smarter and more intuitive than ever. One month in, and I’m wondering how I lived without it. If you’re on the fence—just do it. This phone delivers.

This phone operates great and is easy. Easy to use. My daughter loved it for her birthday gift. The iPhone 13 is the perfect size, after holding it, I realize how awkwardly big my iPhone 13 Pro Max is. it makes me want to get rid of my promax and get this iPhone 13. And the storage amount on this phone is great as well. The camera the phone is excellent!
