I love this 7th gen because of the compact size and how easy it is to use. the touch screen on this gen, and the previous gen, make it much more user friendly than the older ones. The battery life is great, and the radio feature is nice for a change from the same songs on the device over and over.

this ipod is easy to set up, holds alot of music, purchased on sale for a good price, it has nice touch screen features, nice size only bad thing is that you cannot delete songs from playlists from the ipod itself have to go on computer to do it otherwise a great product.

I bought this to replace my old click-wheel iPod that had decreasing battery life. This nano has half the storage, but is much smaller in size. The 16 GB is more than I need because I haven't loaded all of my photos. This does hold all 2,780 songs and 1,800 photos with 2 GB left. The touch screen has great clarity and is responsive. The addition of FM radio is also nice. The reason I deducted one star is due to Apple removing the dock connector port. This has Bluetooth, but older devices (treadmills, clocks) won't be compatible. The cord is also now Lightning instead of the older, wider connector. That requires me to keep an additional cord laying around for my older nano that I also use.

The touch screen navigation is much better than the click-wheel of previous generation iPods. It is much easier to find/select a single song in your A-Z list than ever before. I also really like the radio function for when I want a break from my own music. The battery life is good, but I've noticed that listening to radio uses power faster than playing music. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this iPod. You won't need to go for an iPod Touch if 16 GB is enough space for your music, as it was for me with this Nano.

I bought this Ipod for use at the gym. I was able to put music on it fairly easily. It has awesome sound quality and is easy to use. Touch screen is a really nice feature. I did buy the armband (Belkin - EaseFit Plus Armband for 7th-Generation Apple® iPod® nano - Blacktop) so I could strap it to my arm while working out. Nice fit and comfortable to wear however it didn't do the greatest job keeping my Ipod dry. Ipod though is outstanding.

What is not to love. This was a gift for my wife to replace her much older iPod 2nd generation 30GB. This is very user friendly, and I downloaded her playlists with a lot of space to spare. It is really, really small, and she is able to use it a the gym with ease. Plus, the old iPod was hard drive based, and was susceptible to movement. No skipping on a flash based memory. Nothing but good things to say about this new iPod Nano.

This ipod size was perfect for me, the next size would have been too big and the shuffle to small. This is perfect for working out or just leaving in the car to listen through the aux system. Battery lasts forever!!!! And sounds is great. Amazing price, little good looking device. Very happy with my purchase! Touchscreen not very sensitive though, prefer to handle it from the driving wheel keyboard!

This is the best player that I have used. I am listening to it most of the time and the sound quality is great. The style is very smooth for the use of the unit. The controls and menus are easy to use. The size of the ipod is very good. The capacity of songs held for the size gives me a lot of hours of music to listen too. I will be purchasing this style again when I require another or a spare unit for future use. I would reccomend this unit very much.

The iPod Nano wasn't for me, but for my lady; she had been wanting an mp3 player of some sort (but hadn't told me), so I took her to Best Buy and helped her pick the best solution for her. She is very happy with it, and thinks I am wonderful for getting it for her. She tells me it is the perfect size for carrying when she goes for a walk, and I can testify that it gets a lot of use. Paired with an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker, it sounds good; through the provided Apple earbuds, it sounds even better. Now I'm thinking of getting one for myself!

Pros -light weight but not super fragile. -built in FM radio -16GB big enough for most my music library - smart bottoms for when I'm using gloves or to lazy to manually change settings -colour inversion and mono settings -easy to use and navigate -Nike+ -clock/timer/ stop watch Cons -headphones don't stay put (nice sound though) -only two colour choices of wallpaper (the purple has a fairly unattractive pink so I stick with gray) -cant delete song directly from my iPod. -so doesn't play for 30hrs- I have to charge every night even though I'm only averaging six hours of play time -shake to shuffle doesn't work

My son loves his ipod. It is a convenient size and holds plenty of music with room left for a movie and some pictures. Perfect for a teen or adult. It also has good sound and equalizer.

I love the upgraded version of the ipod nano, even though its now discontinued. It is incredibly light and works well with bluetooth or headphone. The headphones supplied by Apple are a little muffle, so invest in a decent pair to really enjoy the sound. I like the nike app installed, made me work hard for each step and it seemed pretty acurate. Using the music app was an easy process since I was already connected to Itunes. The lightening charger was just that, lighting. Took hardly no time from dead to full. I don't know about the radio because i had music. Everything else is a blur as i dnt use that stuff either.

First time iPod user, and it's a very nice, easy to use player. It pairs and works seamlessly with our Sony Bluetooth speaker. It will hold a lot of music!

My husband gave this to me for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It's the perfect size to take while exercising, very easy to use, great sound.

I purchased this iPod to listen to music while driving so I leave this plugged in my car at all times. It is very light weight but yet very solid. I also love the touch screen control compared to the touch dial that they used to have because with the touch dial control, I could never get anything right the first time unless I was doing it super slow. Only thing that disappoints me is that these nanos do not leave users with any choice when it comes to storage size. I wish I could get one with more than 16GB...

I bought this iPod so I could leave my other one in my vehicle (5th generation) and have this one (7th gen) for walking and in the gym. Because it's Bluetooth, I can now workout using my new wireless Beats Powerbeats 2 (exceptional sound quality I have to add) without snagging a wire or having to change where I rout it. I was also surprised at how small it was compared to me other iPod Nano, so a big plus all the way around.

I bought this to replace an extremely old iPod after many years of use. I like the iPod instead of my iPhone for listening to music while I work out because it is much smaller, lighter weight, and my workout is not interrupted by phone calls and text messages! I highly recommend the iPod nano for this purpose!

I love the small size. The sound is great, and it is pretty easy to use.

No problems...sound is excellent. Convenient size, lightweight, easy to go in pocket. Earbuds work great.

Old Nano battery quit. Instead of replacing battery I decided to get new Nano because of Bluetooth & radio features. Bought a Bose Bluetooth 3 to play outside when working in yard. Love them both. Was familiar with IPOD functions because of prior Nano. That was also big consideration for me. Let me hit the ground running.
