Terrible supplied charger
I ordered 3 of these. They came with significant signs of use, most noticed are scratches around the ports and shiny spots on the keyboards. The scratches are not super bad and hard to take a picture of. 2 of the 3 laptops I got have much worse wear on the keyboards, they're obviously well used. However, I'm going to return these because of the chargers. They come with a generic made in china wall USB-C charger, not the proper magsafe style charger. Buying a proper apple charger and cable is $110. At that point just buy a new, much better M3 for $300 more. This is a bad deal.

"Refurbished" means cleaned i guess.
This thing came in horrible condition. The screen housing was bent, it hand dents all over the corners and scratches in multiple places. Scratches are fine for refurbished but the dents and bent screen are not.

Apple - MacBook Pro 14" Certified Refurbished
The laptop came in dirty! And, there were some scratches on the side. Also, I could not upgrade to the most recent OS, so I ended up reloading OS from scratch. I would really appreciate some additional discount on this laptop!

2021 MacBook Pro 14" M1 16gb 512gb Working great!
Although the Mac arrived without an original box, it was packaged well. It took quite a bit longer to receive the computer than was stated on the website. It also did not come with an original Apple power supply, but the one provided works fine. I was made aware of these possibilities during the purchase of the Mac, but there was always a chance it would come with pleasantries. Having said that, the computer itself has so far been great! No issues, it was clean, all ports work, and it is performing well! Screen looks great, no scratches. I updated the operating system right away and that went fine. I am currently mostly using this Mac for ProTolls music applications and the processing speed and built in memory is all working great for it!

Pay attention when you shop, look out for vendors
You can’t really go wrong with a MacBook these days, the M series Apple processors are incredibly powerful, the new models come with a minimum of 16gb ram finally, and depending on your needs you might need to upgrade to a Pro, or Max series. I got an M1 Pro for the few Mac compatible games I play, and because Apple feels much more secure over windows these days so I’m more comfortable logging into bank websites and whatnot. I thought I bought a geek squad refurbished but I either misread the title or clicked the wrong one, I got what I wanted anyways so it all worked out. The problem was that it was ordered for store pickup on March 20th or something but it was marked as “delayed” for a few days so I got support on chat and they gave me tracking that said it was delivered to the store on the 17th. Went to the store and it was just misplaced and didn’t get scanned in until a manager tracked it down. Can’t blame them, I’ve worked in receiving before and things unfortunately do just fall through the cracks. Not a big deal, it’s just a minor setback. The problem I have is Best Buy opening up to an Amazon style “marketplace” shopping experience online. You look under the product photos to see “sold by Best Buy” or sold by Jemjem, wireless source, whatever other weird 3rd party vendor names. Those vendors are responsible for reporting condition of used items, product details, etc. I’ve seen Apple laptops listed as Dell, the vendors don’t ship for store pickup, and Best Buy doesn’t let you filter out 3rd party vendors so if you’re buying used items and you want a store pickup you have to just click every single product, wait for the page to load, just to see it’s not sold by Best Buy and move to the next. It’s significantly degraded the online shopping experience.
