The base model comes with 16GB of RAM, which is enough for most users. However, if you plan on doing a lot of multitasking or working with large files, you may want to upgrade to 32GB or 64GB of RAM. Keyboard and trackpad The keyboard on the MacBook Pro is one of the best laptop keyboards on the market. It is backlit, and the keys have a nice amount of travel. The trackpad is also very large and responsive. It supports multi-touch gestures, which makes it easy to navigate macOS. Battery life The battery life on the MacBook Pro is excellent. The battery life on this laptop is unreal, I only have to use it for a couple of hours a day for work and I can go over a week without plugging it in. The display is beautiful and the M2 processor can breeze through anything you throw at it. I was between the 14" and 16" and i'm so glad I opted in for the larger screen, it's so much nicer when watching videos, playing games, and even just browsing or needing multiple windows open. If you buy this you won't need a new laptop for a very long time, trust me.

My First MacBook Pro M2 The MacBook Pro is a dream. I also have a Dell 2-in-1 that I purchased back in 2018 (that machine is beauty itself) but man, it kinda pales in comparison. For me it's the engineering of the body, the keyboard and the trackpad (large by the way), the bassy click when you press it down, how smooth the laptop feels to rest my palm on it - everything is so smooth, solid and authentic. I was introduced to the MacBook Pro back in 2008 when I got my (then) girlfriend one and I loved it at that time too. Initially, being that this is MY first MacBook, I was thinking "What will I actually use this for? My Dell does most of my tasks." Now? Well it's the other way around, I'm wondering what I'll use my Dell 2-in-1 for lol. For example, I used Microsoft Excel extensively on my Dell, but it just feels better and is more efficient on the MacBook Pro. There is a grace with which the applications like Excel and Microsoft Word run on this machine. Overall, it’s just great. What I really like... -The Macbook's body construction and the feel of it in general on the hands -It's pretty quick, handles multiple windows/apps with ease -Large screen size helps alot -The multi-gesture feature of the trackpad (I've always loved this about Macs) -It has 3 ThunderBolt ports (helpful for charging the iphone or connecting external monitors, etc.) -So much more What I don't like? -Nothing (I’ve only had it for about 4 months or so, maybe I’ll find something eventually. For now, flawless). I hope this review helps convey how much I love this machine (at least to an extent). Let me know YOUR thoughts.

Although the 2023 14 and 16 inch M2 MacBook Pros offer incremental performance improvement over the M1 Pro and M1 Max, I would highly recommend this MacBook to anyone who is in need of incredible performance and battery life. If you are planning on running an extremely graphics intensive workload, you may benefit more from the M2 Max with the 38 core GPU. However, the 19 core GPU in the M2 Pro is still quite powerful and will be able to handle 4k 60fps rendering with no issue. For reference, I am upgrading from a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. When editing and rendering in Final Cut Pro, the M2 Pro offers substantial performance increases and is definitely worth the upgrade. The ProMotion display is smooth and beautiful as well.

I love this MacBook! It replaced my M1, which drowned in my backpack. This new model is so much better! It’s faster, has a long lasting and lightning quick charge, and has a beautiful crystal clear display. I didn’t know what I was missing!

Best laptop to buy. The speed is amazing. The display looks great like you want to just keep staring at it. Absolutely worth it if you like to get Apple products. And the battery goes on for days without charging even with heavy chrome use or video streaming.

I use this thing for everything. Fun (gaming, web surfing, video editing, photo editing), work (word processing, remote desktop management, video conferencing), and everything in between. The battery life, performance, and port capabilities make it a workhorse unlike any other. If you already have an iPhone, iPad, etc., this machine blends in to tie it all together. I use it mainly in clamshell mode, connected to a docking station and other Thunderbolt accessories for my work.

The MacBook Pro M2 Pro chip is the perfcet for me because! Being 16' super easy to store and carry along with me on all my jobs and travel! Iv worked with apple products from the very begging and having the ability to edit photos and videos very quickly then airdropping to share for my jobs is a life saver for time! Therefor the MacBook Pro is reliable and fast, I wouldn't wanna have any other laptop!

Perfect machine for professionals and/or creatives. I am a software developer, and this machine perfectly suits my needs and handles all of the tasks that I throw at it. Beautiful display quality and even better performance and battery life.

Honestly built really well and significantly faster than any computer I've ever used. I have always loved Apple, but the experience that Best Buy provided during the purchasing process made buying it worth the money and investment. Absolutely amazing machine. Im a musician and purchased this with making music and recording music in mind. Out side of that though, this is everything I need in a computer. Worth every penny.

I was able to buy my Mac Book Pro 16” black friday at Best Buys and was assisted by best staff, the same day I have the help of their Geek staff who install other features like microsoft ofc support, I have all other stuff bought like apple mouse, apple watch and have my new watch purchase connected to my apple phone. After few days I received a percentage return saving to my card also. With purchases of expensive items, and as a mother who wanted to gift herself, I just need to be wise with my budget. But the value for for money when buying expensive items like apple/mac its worth for its long term use. Maybe I can give this to my grand kids in the future…who knows.

Originally bought the M1 Air and was so impressed with the performance I upgraded to the Macbook M1 Pro 16”, then exchanged it after a month for the M2 Pro because of the memorial day sale.

Powerful laptop with easy to use features. I suffer from a bad case of FOMO ;) so the portability it gives me is awesome! Use it from my office to the couch or dining table.
