Q: Does the keyboard fold back so that the iPad can still be used as a tablet?
A: No it only tilts, you have to detach the IPad to use as a tablet

A: Yes, the new 12.9” magic keyboard is backwards compatible. Just make sure you buy the correct size (11” or 12.9”) for your iPad.

A: I don’t think you need a sleeve with the magic keyboard, the magic keyboard can serve as a protector of the iPad and itself. See my attached image.
