I picked up the Apple Watch Ultra 2 from Best Buy about a month ago, upgrading from a standard Series 8. Long story short: I should have done this sooner. The Watch (10/10) You notice the difference the second you unbox it. The 49mm Titanium case feels solid without being annoyingly heavy. I’m pretty clumsy, and the flat sapphire screen has already survived a few direct hits on door frames that would have shattered my old watch. The battery life is the real game changer. I can easily get two full days of heavy use (GPS, sleep tracking, notifications) before needing a charge. The screen hits 3000 nits of brightness, which sounds like overkill until you try to read a map in direct July sunlight—then it’s a lifesaver. If you are on the fence because of the price, Best Buy tends to run solid deals on these. It’s expensive, sure, but the GPS is super accurate and the Action button is genuinely useful for starting workouts. The Screen Protector (4/5) Because I love the flat sapphire screen, I was terrified to scratch it. I grabbed an ESR Armorite screen protector from the Best Buy accessories aisle. Installation was dead simple thanks to the tray. The glass is smooth (feels just like the actual screen) and the touch sensitivity hasn't dropped at all. My only half-star deduction? Dust does eventually collect right on the edge of the protector because the Ultra 2 has that slight lip, but you barely notice it when the screen is on. For the peace of mind, it’s a must-buy. Verdict If you want a watch that doesn't need to be babied and you hate watching your battery tick down, buy the Ultra 2. Just make sure you grab that screen protector on the same trip to keep that gorgeous titanium looking new. Pros: · Battery lasts for days. · Screen is insanely bright and big. · Titanium build feels premium and rugged. Cons: · It is a chunky watch (small wrists beware). · Dust magnet around screen protector edges.

This watch is the best all around Apple Watch because of how well rounded it is. The Apple Watch Ultra series really takes all of the disadvantages of the older models: screen protection, durability, visibility, battery life, and style, and truly improved these features in one fell swoop. The size, at first, may seem to be large, but after really wearing it, I think most will really enjoy it. There are plenty of options to make it look appropriate for different settings. It was a great investment for me!!

Very happy with my purchase. The display is clear and the ability to check my calls, text and email during the day with out having to look at my phone is wonderful.It's also very durable, I have not used a screen proctor and no problems so far. Great battery life.

Love this watch! Even with its size is very comfortable to wear and sleep in. I love how easy it connects to my Peloton devices and tracks for outside exercise. The battery life over the other Apple Watches is a nice feature too.

I already love apple watches. I have many in my household already but wanted to upgrade my series 6 nike to the Ultra 2. I am blown away by the battery life. At first i was worried i bought watch that was too big for my wrist. My other watch was a 45mm and this is a 49mm. But i am happy to say the watch is great in size and the big watch face looks amazing, especially when you put a nice watch face on it. Ive worn it swimming with no issue and ive work it build houses. It has zero problems. I literally cannot find anything wrong with it. The only issue i would have had was the band it came with, but i already had a band i purchased that fits amazing and is easier to put on and take off.

I upgraded from a Series 7 Nike watch. It kept running out of battery when I would take it on long runs, or my Spartan races. I got the watch, fully charged, ran TWO 5 km Spartan Races, and didn't need to charge it until two days later. Can't wait to try it on a longer run. Doesn't feel too bulky and I've been waiting for a sleeker color than the silver color. Definitely a great upgrade! They may release a NEWER model next year, but I'll be happy to keep this model for a long time.
