Sound quality is great, however lacks HDMI 2.1 and wifi connection is iffy. Also remote lacks way to switch to TV / ARC output.

Bought this unit as a floor demo in summer of 2023 when it was on closeout and the newer models were coming in. It was a great deal. Sound is phenomenal. Dirac is pretty good. I lke the web browser based ability to change all the settings (treble/input selection/speaker types). It replaced a 20 year old Mcintosh MX 134, which still sounded great. But this is better with DIrac. And now I can stream directly to it with Airplay and bluetooth. The only negative is I did have to send it into service last summer. I can't remember exactly what happened, but it needed some resistors or transistors replace. It was done under warranty and back to me within 10 days, but it did cost me $135 to ship it. Not a big deal for the price I got it for. Would definitely buy again.

Ive had my AVR30 for about 10 months now and couldn’t be happier. Definitely an investment, alittle pricey to say the least but the quality and pure Class G power is simply amazing sound and will make your speakes shine like never before. I have my 8ohm speakers bi-wired to take avantage of ARCAM 4 ohms power supply. And great customer service from ARCAM, just shoot them an email and they reloy quickly.

This is hands down the most impressive audio receiver I’ve ever owned! I've always been a Pioneer Elite person until I was looking for something better and I came across Arcam. My first Arcam was the 390 model and it has been the best receiver I've ever owned. I just recently got a new Arcam 30 and this is a beast!! Not to mention this price I got it for I couldn't pass this deal up. I highly recommend this receiver to any home audio enthusiast.

Amazing sound and clarity. Voices are crystal clear and deep base is present but separated beautifully from the voices.

A rock-n-roll dream. I have set this up with the help of BestBuy Magnolia team and built out the ARCAM AVR 30 biamp a pair of Bowers and Wilkins 702 S2 with a REL 1205 subwoofer. From Bach Cello and Organ to Freddie Mercury and the rest of the amazing Queen. Sound is crisp and clear with no hissing whatsoever. Sit close your eyes and throw on MJs Thriller and you can hear the door creaking open and the foot steps walk across the room in front of you… AMAZING Sound Stage!!!

Good receiver very powerful. Only issue is there’s a a delay between switching between modes and sources. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Purchased the open box unit which turned out to be the floor model which Best Buy likely left on for 2 straight years. The amp sounded amazing powering my pair of kef R7s however the DSP board went after only a week. Unfortunately had to return it as a result and I’m back to square one. Only issue now is to buy a new unit with that equivalent power/sound that I’m now accustomed to. I paid 2100 on a 6600 receiver and it indeed was too good to be true. First and last used purchase of my life. Honestly sounded like a 5 star product until it didn’t.

 This receiver is absolutely amazing! The G powered amps, brought my bowers and Wilkins, CM10’s and CM6’s to a completely new life!

The stereo was a demo, got it home and it worked for half. An hour sounded great all of a sudden. It crackled and popped and no more had to return it. Got my money back to buy a different receiver. It all worked out I wish you would have continued to work.

Got this Arcam AVR30 about 3 months ago and had issues with HDMI signal going from AVR30 to projector. I needed to buy a new HDMI cable and now everything is working. Still have a few other glitches that I'm working on. One of them is switching from Netflix to YouTube, I lose the audio signal and need to power off AVR30 and then back on to get the audio signal. I won't recommend this AVR30 due to all the troubleshooting you need to do to have it working properly.

I have had several Denon A/V processors and none have come close to the performance of the Arcam AVR 30. Just an awesome piece of equipment. Highly recommended!

I never installed this arcam avr30. Before I installed it I saw that this model was outdated and replaced with the Arcam avr31. So, I returned the AVR 30 and purchased the 31 which is an 8K model. Big mistake, it lasted 3 months and totally broke down. I am taking the 31 back to Costa Mesa tomorrow and hopefully they will replace it for me. The magnolia people also charged me $1,440 for the install which fought the cost of the receiver up to close to $9,000. I was told that this was a special install. I will see what the story is tomorrow. I tried to leave a review for the 31 and it said sorry, we are no longer taking reviews for this product. I wonder why.
