I use this for my CobbAccessPort in my Speed3 and it works great. Fits on the vent very well and is surprisingly stable. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. Most other mount solutions are over 20 dollars. I like this because I didn't want a suction cup window mount for my AccessPort and this vent mount is perfect. I would highly recommend this for the AccessPort. I know it's technically for a GPS but the 17mm ball is the same as on the AccessPort and the cradle that comes with it fits perfectly into this ball.

need to be careful attaching to vent vanes, strong grip. try dry fitting, rotating vent clips 180 degrees for best orientation and fit. vent clips fit into bracket slot at an angle. rotated the vent clips for my 2006 Jeep Liberty, excellent fit and support lever is solidly placed.

Hooked it up yesterday. Works better than the suction on the window and doesn't block your view. Worth the price!!

I was kind of apprehensive about buying this product. Garmin had their own but it was three times the price. But this little gadget is GREAT. It holds GPS in perfect position and it's very easy to install and adjust to your individual needs. Best buy from Best Buy!

Holds the GPS right where I need it out of the way, leave full view of the road.

The Akron Vent mount is easy to install and remove. I bought a second one so I leave them in both of my cars.I drive a Lincoln and a Taurus and my garmin stays secure. I like the vent mount better than the window mount, because it blocked my vision at times.

I just ordered my second Arkon vent mount for my Garmin Nuvi GPS. My first Garmin was stolen from my car, and I lost the mount afterward. Now that I have replaced the GPS it is time to get another Arkon. This mount is deceptively simple but attaches securely to the vent manifold in my Toyota Matrix. The vent in the Matrix happens to be in an ideal location for the GPS, and gives the portable GPS a much cleaner look than with the windshield suction mount (which in CA is illegal to use) that comes standard with the Garmin Nuvi.

When I received this my first attempt at installing failed because my vents are wide and narrow top-to-bottom. Then I discovered that if you rotate the spring clips 180 degrees (upside down) and tilt the "foot" all the way up against the back of the mount it installs well and will easily support the weight of my Nuvi 765T. Additionally, with the clips upside-down it's a lot easier to install. It's a keeper!

Great product. Simple, easy to install. Keeps the GPS out of direct sunlight.unlike the suction cup method. Easier to reach the screen controls. Extremely happy with my purchase.

I have a trail blazer and the garmin nuvi vent mount was exactly what I wanted. It's easy to put together and install. I like the fact that the Garmin is now OFF the windsheild and yet very accessible to the driver. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

It keeps the Garmin in a secure position without exception. No more Garmin rolling across the dash due to sudden driving motions or falling off the windshield into my lap or coffee at inappropriate times.

Very skeptical of this item due to the low price, but it is a great item. Hated the Garmin window mount and this is a perfect replacement. Fit in my Saab air vent perfectly. Very pleased.

This item was great right out of the box. Easy to install and stayed attached to the air vent pretty well. Now that I've had it for a month or so the clips that attach to the air vents seem to have lost their "grip." The spring-less clips are loosening and not holding to the air vent very well at all so that when I accelerate or turn quickly the device falls off and my GPS unit lands either on the floor or in my lap.

Great alternative to the window mount. Was able to get the unit much closer to me. Now its easier to see and use making it much safer. Glad I bought it.

I was hoping that the device would fit on my Ferrari vent. It does, but not as good as my Lexus. It has to be mounted sideways in my Ferrari. It works okay. I'll create something different in the future.
