So far so good! I've purchased 3 different Arlo solar panels , and despite hearing some negative reviews , it has been my experience that these little panels are solid , in both that they hold a charge, and the build quality . The first one I purchased is already a few years old and has endured temperatures ranging from around 25 degrees to 105 degrees F. Haven't had a single issue yet and the other two are running strong as well. There are generic panels out there that I've used in the past and they seem to work well also but they tend to be big and bulky so for just a little more in price , you can't go wrong with keeping it all arlo brand .

Verry happy so far. Even though we've had more cloudy days than sunny days and below freezing since I bought them the solar panels are keeping my 2 outside cameras topped off at 100% most of the time. The lowest I've seen them drop to has been 98%. Now I shouldn't have to take the cameras down anymore to recharge them and if I am away for any length of time the solar panels will keep them charged.

Does what it should, just have to make sure it is getting direct sunlight exposure.

Solar panel works great. It isn't practical to try and keep these cameras charged manually. The solar panels a great and trouble free. The only thing that I wish is that the cable were a bit longer. I would like to hide the panels as they draw attention to the camera which is a negative. A 10 or 12 foot cable would make a big difference. That said the camera really should come with a charger or at least a charger cable. But as it is, the panels are almost a requirement.

Its not perfect, but keeps my camera charged even with days of rainy weather. Well worth the price. The only compaint I have is the swivel mount his hard to work with durring the install. But, once tou are done you dont have to worry about it again.

Great product. Clear veiw of what is going on. Informa you of everything thats going on. I feel safe when I go away. I know I am able to put my mind at rest. Pretty good battery life also. My dad is 70 and is able to monitor his house from his phone.

If you live in sunny, sunshine-y areas like I do, it won't hurt to get one of these solar panels for outdoor Arlo "essential" cameras that are too far away from available power outlets. So far, it works as advertised keeping our essential outdoor camera fully charged, easy to install and put in position where the sun is expected to rise and shine all year round but I won't be able to attest to its durability and such IF it rains here in LA but more worryingly if the freak Santa Ana wind season comes roaring through. Hope the mount, plate and screws hold this little thing down. Now, not sure if its a built-in smart function (did not have time to read everything about it) but I noted that it stopped charging after the camera hit 100% charge just before noon today. Might have to read more about it later. Thanks for reading my review.

One of my cameras had to be charged more frequently because of my very active dog so decided to get a solar panel. No more worries about recharging the solar panel keeps the battery life up very satisfied with my purchase.

I have had this for three years & it’s still going strong. Easy to install & set up. Looks nice as well. It keeps my camera charged.

The panel charges the camera really fast if the sun is hitting the panel directly. If there is slight shade the camera won’t charge at all, which is a unfortunate issue but understandable. Other than that is really worth it because it saves you from disconnecting the camera to charge

Depending on where your Arlo camera is mounted the solar panel is a great option. It easy to install and keeps you from having to bring the camera down for battery charging. I would highly recommend the solar panel and the price is very reasonable also.

Good quality, I'm using it over than one year. Had to charge battery only one time since I installed it.

I might be generous with the 3 star rating. The price was very reasonable but I soon learned that they don’t keep up with the needs of my Arlo security camera. Easy to install but I have since stopped using them and will put them up for sale.

Works okay - I still have to charge my camera with a real outlet inside on a regular basis. It does make the battery last longer once outside but it doesn't actually charge the camera.

This is my second Arlo solar panel and my first one has been out there for at least three years. Not a problem, excellent! This is my second one keeps it charged fully. It depends on your lighting. Mine gets a good half day of sunlight. Share make sure your life a lot easier! Love them.

I’m glad I purchased these solar panels fpr my Arlo cameras. I use to have to climb a ladder every 6-8 days to swap out the batteries but with these solar panels eliminated that task. These keep my batteries fully charged and the status is monitored on the Arlo App.
