Arlo Essential Solar Panel Charger keeps your battery charged with direct sunlight. It’s weather resistant design, 8-foot power cable, and adjustable mount makes installation easy anywhere.
A: Each Arlo Solar Panel can only be connected to 1 Arlo camera for charging. Please note that the Arlo Essential Solar Panel (VMA3600) is only compatible with the Arlo Essential camera series. You will need the Arlo Solar Panel (VMA5600) for each of your Arlo Pro 3 cameras.
A: The Essential series of cameras are sealed with a non-removable rechargeable battery. The solar panel has an 8' cable and you plug it directly into the camera. In my experience, having purchased and installed this, you need DIRECT sunlight for the solar panel to provide enough energy to charge the battery (which is what they say on the Arlo website). If you only have a place to mount the solar panel with INDIRECT sunlight then it will not charge up in battery percentage. Maybe helps a little to not go down so fast ... will keep going down, not up. Sold to my neighbor and works great in direct sunlight. Going to get an Essential XL (that has bigger battery) to put in that spot to avoid having to take down and charge so often.
A: Go to the arlo website and you can find the right one
Q: dose this solar panel work with essential spot light camra
A: Yes it does work excellent only thing is it has to have direct sunlight minimum 1/2 time thee the entire day and it’s recommended to fully charge your cameras before installation
Q: where can I buy solar panels for the arlo pro seies camera?
A: It is available here at Best Buy. Please search for Arlo Solar Panel with model number VMA3600. ^RM
Q: What’s the range the wireless camera from the Internet in the house?
A: You can place your Arlo camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the SmartHub or Router. The maximum line-of-sight range of 300 feet is reduced by each wall, ceiling, or other major obstruction between the camera and SmartHub or Base Station.
A: The Arlo solar panel was designed to trickle charge your camera. Your camera will not overcharge with the solar panel connected.
