Q: I need directions to use 4 cup Aroma. How much water where does it go same for raw rice. please!!
A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. With this unit it cooks 1-4 cups of raw rice using the cup provided with the unit. Typically you add the rice to inner pot rinse then fill to corresponding water line.Should have a hard time seeing the line in the inner pot, for white rice it is 1/2 cup more water than the rice being cooked etc. 1cup rice/1 1/2 cups of water. There is the nonstick inner pot that can be taken out and washed, as well as a removable inner lid that can be detached from the main lid for cleaning. Q: Can I steam lentils in this cooker?
A: Hi EdsCookingMadness, although we have not tested cooking lentils in this unit, it may be possible to "boil" approximately 1 cup of lentils with 3 cups of water. It is important to stir occasionally and maintain the water above the lentils. We hope that helps.

Q: when you say 8 cup cooker does it mean uncooked or cooked rice?
A: That refers to cooked rice. The capacity is 4 cups of uncooked rice.
Q: Is there a separate brown rice or white rice button feature .
A: No it don't, just the cook and warm but it can cook brown rice as well.. just as great as white rice
A: The condensation collector can be removed by simply pulling it out to drain and clean.
