Arturia KeyStep 37 mk2 is a compact controller and sequencer designed for hybrid music setups, featuring a 37-note Slimkey keyboard with velocity and aftertouch. • Polyphonic Step Sequencer & 16-Mode Arpeggiator: Record, program, and chain up to 64 steps with 8-note polyphony. Use the built-in 16-mode arpeggiator, including Poly, Walk, Pattern, and Random, to generate melodic or rhythmic variations. Sequences can be edited live with overdub, mutate, and automation features for flexible, evolving patterns.
• Mode-Aware Encoders with OLED Display: Four mode-aware encoders, plus a Control button, provide instant access to the Sequencer, Arpeggiator, Chord, and Mutate functions. The OLED display and RGB feedback clearly indicate parameter adjustments, helping you navigate sequences, arpeggios, and harmonic edits efficiently during live performance or studio work.
• CV/Gate, MIDI DIN, USB-C & Sync Integration: Connect modular synths, vintage instruments, or DAWs through four assignable CV/Gate outputs, full-size MIDI DIN, and USB-C. Additional 3.5 mm Sync In/Out and TRS sustain/expression inputs allow flexible routing, timing, and real-time control across hardware setups, making it a central hub for hybrid workflows.
• Chord & Scale Modes with Mutate, Spice, Dice Tools: Lock sequences to a key or trigger full chords using scale and chord modes.
