I have been a huge Assassins creed from the very start. I last played Assassins Creed Origins and it quickly became my favorite in the series. With this game, the story, the world and the gameplay are fantastic! The RPG elements to this game are deep and you can build the type of Viking Warrior/ Assassin to match the way you play. The game looks beautiful on the Xbox Series X and is very smooth. The world looks amazing...plants, animals, water and people look great. Also, playing an Assassins Creed in 60 frames per second is a joy. If you are looking for a great game, with great story, graphics and gameplay... this is your game.

Like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Origins before it, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla continues the series trajectory into a full-fledged open-world RPG. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s story follows Eivor, a male or female Norse Viking who grows up with a chip on their shoulder and vengeance in their heart after some particularly dastardly events in the opening cinematic. From those starting moments, the table is set and soon you and your brother Sigurd are off on a grand adventure to England, a land ripe with wealth and glory, and already well-integrated with Danes and Norse from years of Viking invasion and conquest.

Excellent graphics that drags your attention and makes you dream, I'm currently enjoying this new title on the new Xbox Series X and it is amazing. You will love the story that this game brings to you, and you will grow your knowledges by interacting with the wonderful environment that Ubisoft created for your entertainment this year. Get to know the stone age and the Vikings.

I'm really excited - I have not played an Assassins Creed since III (American Revolution w/ Connor Kenway) & most of IV (Black Flag). I've seen some reviews- and I do plan to catch up on & discover Unity/Syndicate/Origins/Odyssey (and document it all) BUT I'm really happy Best Buy pinged me with a sale because it's a steal.

I love this game! Around 30 hours in and this game dragged me in right away. The graphics are incredible. I played almost all the games of the AC series and Assassin's Creed Valhalla is simply amazing and one of my favorites.

Review for the product : No damages , gaming right away out of the box. But the game is so unnecessarily long, story does not add up and goes sideways for a long time !!! Gets very repetitive

Please note: I got this game on release day last year and have played for around 200 hours, completing all but a few side quests/puzzles. I even have the three legendary weapons (Excalibur, Mjolnir, and the Isu bow), so I'm coming at this review with an informed opinion. Now...the GOOD: Excellent graphics. Much better variety of quest objectives. Much more immersive experience. Beautiful world design. Compelling story...to a point (more on that later). Much better variety in character personalities. No ocean-bound ship battles (I hated those in ODYSSEY). Weapon upgrade system is simplified. The BAD: Story drags on way too long. There are some quests that just don't know when to end and they overstay their welcome. While it's simplified, the weapon upgrade system can be a grind-fest and, because it requires specific materials that are rather finite, you had better be sure you want to keep the weapon you're upgrading. The REALLY REALLY BAD... This game is an ABSOLUTE BUGGY MESS!!! I got very lucky that I was able to avoid most game-breaking glitches until I finished it (although I did experience a glitch that awarded me a Legendary Animal kill just because I walked over its underground location). However, there were side quests that were completely broken for me. The first Yule Festival event--which was time-limited--was permanently broken and unfinishable. The last straw for me was last month's patch. It broke the Guaranteed Assassination option for me. This is found in the Settings menu and gives players the option for one-shot assassinations regardless of enemy level...except most bosses). After the patch, my Level 406 character with 50+ mastery points couldn't even one-hit assassinate a BASIC ARCHER in the Level 340 Hamtunscire region. The only way I could recommend this game is if you can get it for $20 and are willing to accept that you might not be able to complete it. Personally, I'm done with it. It was a compelling game, but the software glitches plaguing it have made it an unpredictable mess. I won't be buying the expansion packs, and I certainly will not be getting the next AC game until it's on a deep discount.

My first assassin's creed since trying the very first one was odyssey, I was hooked with that game. That game was massive and I never finished it. Valhalla has been said to be smaller but I've got over 113 hours into this game and I still haven't finished the main story. I haven't even collect all the random stuff. The gameplay is very similar to odyssey in my opinion and they added fishing to this game which I find rather slow and uninteresting. If your looking for something to take up huge chunks of time this game is for you. I was lucky enough to get a series x and this game looks absolutely gorgeous on that system. The lighting of the world gives way to truly breath taking environments. The side stuff for the most part isn't even needed and can honestly be a bore. They also don't give you a crazy amount of weapons that you can either sell or break down in this game which I felt was annoying. Overall the game is a solid entry and I feel it has some downs but way more ups.

Let's start out with the cons 1: It does have some bugs 2: Same engine as the previous RPG style AC games (Origins and Odyssey including For Honor's engine as well) 3: Some Screen tearing (I'm on Xbox One, Not sure about PS4) 4: Horse can sometimes be very incompetent Yes this game isn't a perfect game, what game is? Now for the pros 1: The story is great, to say the least 2: The music is epic and catchy as well as extremely peaceful 3: HUGE map (Including others you can explore) 4 Norse Mythology (Who doesn't like that) 5: Awesome side quests and mysteries 6: The map is much more dynamic than origins and Odyssey, meaning the different territories and shires on the map feel unique and not much like a copy and paste of another town 7: The characters in this game are very memorable and unique, as well as good character development 8: Did I mention dismemberment!? 9: The graphics, and I know some may disagree, but to me the graphics seem borderline next gen Overall Valhalla is personally the best AC game I've played since 3 and Unity. . Well worth the $ There is so much more I could say about this game, good things I mean. But the short of it is that I would highly recommend to anyone who has played and enjoyed Odyssey and Origins to get this masterpiece.
