Customer Ratings & Reviews

Astria Ascending is a short-to-mid-length old school jrpg. The quality of this game is much better than other budget games, as the character design, music, art/graphics, and battle system are all very good. However, the game feels very small in scale, which is due to the shorter campaign and stricture of the storytelling (you start off with all the characters, lore vs development ratio is too high, etc). All in all, for the small price you’re paying, a Nojima game is well worth a spot in your collection.

Would you like great combat in an rpg? This game is for you!

Great addition to my collection. Worth the Best Buy points to buy through Best Buy.

This game was very interesting to say at the least but enjoyable

Beautiful 2D side scrolling RPG like Valkyrie Profile. Difficulty is just right.

Its a jrpg with pretty art, that's my reason for picking up the game.

Cool game, runs well on the switch, added to the backlog :)

Takes a while to master the gameplay. It is nice to have a new developer making RPGs

There are better jrpgs out there to play. If you have played all of the greats then you'll enjoy this.

An okay game, bought cheap on sale. Might give to a family member.
