Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’ve been running this motherboard with an Intel i5-14600K and it has been absolutely rock solid. Setup was straightforward, BIOS was easy to navigate, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. Power delivery and thermals have been great, even under heavy gaming and benchmarking. Stability has been flawless. No crashes, no weird behavior and XMP settings applied without any issues. The board is well-built, has plenty of connectivity and the layout is clean and practical for good airflow and cable management. If you’re pairing this with a 14th-gen Intel CPU, this is a fantastic choice. Reliable, high-quality, and performs exactly as it should. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Great motherboard so far, I've used it for a little over a month now and I've had no issues. Using a 14th gen i5 and ddr5 ram.

Get this motherboard if you want excellent overclocking performance, the ability to have 4 m.2 ssd's, 2 gpu's, and use the Asus Armoury Crate ecosystem.

Mid-tier price for all the fixings. Supports latest processors, plenty of M2 slots (4) with 2 being Gen4. The steel reinforced GPU slot is awesome to help with GPU sag. Highly recommend for an affordable base to your next system. Can’t beat ASUS TUF line components.

With this Asus Tuf z790 Plus motherboard, I was able to finish in the top 10 in 3DMark (Time Spy) with a 4070 Super and a 14600K. That said, it's a tremendous motherboard, especially for the price.

Amazing motherboard!!! This one has many ports to house all the essential parts that any mid to expert user could ask for. Multiple slots for NVME cards and enough priority to add additional components that one would like.

Very easy to build in, top quality Motherboard, was perfect for my 6500 Case build with an i712700k cpu, titan 360 cooler, and plenty of M2 slots and fan headers for iCueLink

Good price / quality, support new gen 14 intel. Easy to configure and add ARGB lights

Excellent Motherboard. Works flawlessly. No problems installing it. So much m.2 compartments

Great motherboard for the price. I haven’t had any problems.

Looks great a runs my rig very well. Paired with 13600k, 4070ti and 32gb of corsair ram

Good motherboard had no problems with it since getting it works like a champ.

Sigma motherboard got everything I needed for my Case

I’ve been very happy with this motherboard so far. Installation was straightforward, and everything worked well with my Intel build. The BIOS is easy to navigate, and the board has plenty of connectivity, including Wi-Fi 6E, multiple M.2 slots, and USB ports. Performance has been stable under both gaming and everyday workloads, and the VRM cooling has kept temperatures in check. The overall build quality feels solid and well made. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that a few setup steps took a little extra time, but once everything was configured, it’s been reliable and trouble-free. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable Z790 DDR5 motherboard.

I bought this to replace the motherboard in a prebuilt I had that I suspected was faulty. This has about everything I could hope for while maintaining compatibility with my i7-14700K. It has 4 M.2 slots that you can load up with storage, all of the USB ports are 3.0 or better, a PCIe 5.0 slot for modern Nvidia and AMD GPU's, 2.5Gb Ethernet and WiFi 6E, and lots of fan connections, among other things. I took a gamble and bought an open-box model, but so far it's been working great and the performance is excellent. Asus' software offers isn't the best, but it offers good options for tuning and customization.

This motherboard has been a good choice for a gaming build. The layout is easy to work with, and it has the features most people would want, including Wi-Fi built in. Everything installed without much trouble, and the board feels sturdy. I also like the TUF design because it looks clean without being too flashy. It has plenty of connection options and works well for a modern Intel setup. Overall, it is a reliable board and a good pick if you want something with good features without going into the super expensive motherboard range.

I love the board and the compatibility with components. Only two little issues that have always bugged me about mid budget Asus boards that I knock a point off for. 1. The MSI equivalent has great m.2 fasteners on the board, Asus's are really cheap and hard to work with. 2. The memory slots having one solid clasp to secure it as always bugged me. I like to able to disconnect both clasps to pull the RAM out. In tight spaces it can be tough to pull ram with the one fixed clasp. In summary: the function of the board and the Asus software to configure the BIOS is very good. That's said, I'm growing fond of armory crate with the exception of the various pop-ups when you open it because it's become grown up as annoying system tools go. This board overclocks very well, and it's very easy to work the overclock. Temperatures are good across all the components with no alarms as long as the air is pushed steadily through the case.

I recently upgraded to the ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard, and it's been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Paired with my Intel Core i9 and DDR5-6000 RAM, this board has brought my system to life with enhanced performance and stability. Build Quality & Design: The TUF series is renowned for its durability, and this motherboard lives up to that reputation. The robust 16+1 DrMOS power stages ensure efficient power delivery, and the enlarged VRM heatsinks keep temperatures in check during intensive tasks. The aesthetic is sleek and understated, with subtle RGB accents that add a touch of flair without being overbearing. alktech.co +2 asus.com +2 thefpsreview.com +2 Performance: From the moment I powered on, the system booted flawlessly. The BIOS interface is intuitive, making it easy to enable XMP profiles and optimize memory settings. With support for DDR5 memory speeds up to 7200 MT/s, my applications and games run smoother than ever. pcgamer.com +2 asus.com +2 alktech.co +2 Connectivity & Expansion: The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6E and 2.5Gb Ethernet provides fast and reliable network connections. I appreciate the ample USB ports, including a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, which offers high-speed data transfer and charging capabilities. The four M.2 slots with Q-Latch make installing NVMe SSDs a breeze, eliminating the need for screws.

Upgrade from my previous motherboard, paired with a 12700k i7, 4080 super and the RGB Vengence DDR5. Fits perfectly inside of my NZXT H9 Flow. I would consider this motherboard great for all build types and installation if failproof, just watch a couple videos if this your first time. Excellent motherboard overall. Build quality feels very sturdy and premium, exactly what you’d expect from the TUF lineup. Setup was straightforward, BIOS was easy to navigate, and everything worked smoothly right out of the box. The Wi-Fi 6E is fast and reliable, DDR5 support is solid, and there are plenty of ports and expansion options for a high-end build. Temps stay stable even under heavy loads, and the board feels very well optimized for Intel CPUs. Overall, this is a great choice if you want reliability, performance, and future-proofing without overpaying for unnecessary extras. Highly recommend for gaming or productivity builds.
