The AT33xMLD features a microlinear nude stylus on a duralumin tapered cantilever delivering warm detailed sound ideal for rock and jazz. Its piano-wire suspension improves tracking and enhances mid-low range performance while the composite zinc aluminum and polymer body minimizes resonance for balanced natural playback. Independent PCOCC coils in the dual moving coil design ensure excellent channel separation and smooth signal transmission supported by a neodymium magnet and permendur yoke for efficient high-resolution sound.FeaturesDual Moving Coil Stereo Cartridge with Microlinear Nude StylusPCOCC Coils Ensure Smooth Signal TransmissionComposite Body Reduces Resonance for Balanced SoundMaterial DifferenceThe AT33xMLD’s rigid duralumin pipe cantilever which tapers toward the microlinear stylus tip for improved response is linked with a firm suspension mechanism slightly lowering the dynamic compliance. Two independent PCOCC coils are positioned at the cantilever’s fulcrum to ensure pure signal transmission for each channel.Sound BodyEach AT33x Series cartridge body is constructed of three distinct materials – die-cast zinc aluminum and high-rigidity polymer – optimally arranged to reduce and disperse resonance across the cartridge body so that no frequency predominates during playback. Threaded holes are incorporated into the body for easy mounting.Full Warm SoundThe redesigned AT33x Series cartridges deliver that classic analog sound rich in detail across the audio spectrum with lifelike expressiveness in the mid to low frequencies. The AT33xMLD is an excellent choice for playing rock and jazz records particularly those recorded in the 1950s ’60s and ’70s. Featuring a special line contact stylus on a 0.28 mm diameter solid boron cantilever the AT-ART9XI replaces the AT-ART9 as Audio-Technica’s flagship magnetic core MC cartridge.FeaturesFlagship Magnetic Core Moving Coil CartridgeSpecially Designed Magnetic Circuit PCOCC Coils Ensure High-Fidelity TransmissionDual Moving Coils Provide High Separation & Wide ResponseMachined Aluminum BaseSpecial Line Contact StylusEasy Installation to a Headshell or Integrated TonearmARTThe “ART” in the model number stands for Audio-Technica Reference Transducer a designation that they give only to their flagship phono cartridges. The specially designed magnetic circuit boasts an output voltage of 0.5 mV (1 kHz 5 cm/sec) making the cartridge easy to use and capable of reproducing even the most delicate expressions while also ensuring dynamic playback. The AT-ART9XI has also been designated an Audio-Technica Excellence Product a recognition that identifies products that meet their highest standards of high-fidelity performance. What's in the BoxAT-ART9XI Dual Moving Coil CartridgeNon-Magnetic Screwdriver(2) WashersCartridge Installation ScrewsSpecificationsFrequency Response: 20-50000 HzChannel Separation: 30 (dB at 1 kHz)Vertical Tracking Angle: 20°Vertical Tracking Force: 1.6-2.0 g (1.8 g standard)Stylus Construction: NudeRecommended Load Impedance: Min. 100 ohms (when head amplifier connected)Coil Impedance: 12 ohms (1 kHz)DC Resistance: 12 ohmsCoil Inductance: 25 µH (1 kHz)Output Voltage: 0.5 mV (1 kHz 5 cm/sec.)Output Channel Balance: 0.5 dB (1 kHz)Stylus Shape: Special line contactCantilever: 0.28 mm diameter solid boronStatic Compliance: 25 x 10-6 cm/dyneDynamic Compliance: 15 x 10-6 cm/dyne (100 Hz)Mounting: Half-inchCartridge Weight: 8.5 g (0.30 oz)Dimensions: 17.3 mm (0.68") H × 16.8 mm (0.66") W × 25.0 mm (0.98") DThreaded Hole: M2.6 x 2

The VM760SLC special line contact stylus cartridge is the flagship model in Audio-Technica’s new VM cartridge line – a line that harks back to A-T’s early days as a manufacturer primarily of high-end phono cartridges, while also incorporating today’s advanced technology. Like all VM cartridges, the VM760SLC is equipped with dual magnets that are positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove for outstanding channel separation and extended frequency response. The cartridge’s ultra-lightweight special line contact stylus allows it to trace the record groove with incredible accuracy and minimum abrasion, resulting in nuanced audio reproduction, low distortion and low record wear. Includes mounting hardware. VM dual magnet cartridge with special line contact stylus. Aluminum tapered cantilever. Paratoroidal coils improve generating efficiency. Center shield plate between the left and right channels reduces crosstalk. Die-cast aluminum alloy housing reduces vibration and adds a natural electrical shield.

The sonic presentation of Blue Point No. 3 harkens back to vintage Shure & Stanton MMs remembered for their smoothness. With our tried & true MC generator system, that smoothness is enhanced with the subtlety & nuance you’d expect from a Sumiko MC. First and foremost – and if ever the word were appropriate – Blue Point No. 3 assembles its sonic picture from the ground up with its oh-so buttery low-end response. Bass enthusiasts are in for a treat here. Full & warm yet defined & textured, the coziness of the bass will invite you right in. It doesn’t stop there, however. You can expect the similar lushness through the mids that remain decipherable, high-frequency attack & decay that’s simply sweet & airy.
