The AT-OC9XML Dual Moving Coil cartridge with Microlinear stylus is designed to provide outstanding channel separation. The Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting (PCOCC) coils ensure pure audio transmission and are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation to exert less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion. Audio quality is further enhanced by a rigid aluminum body that reduces resonance, a neodymium magnet and premium permendur yoke that increase the magnetic energy, and the nude Microlinear stylus on a boron cantilever that tracks the record groove with incredible accuracy, low distortion and high-transient response. The cartridge body has been pre-threaded, enabling it to be mounted to a headshell or integral tonearm with just two screws – no nuts required. Dual Moving Coil design, featuring independent coils for both left and right channels, provides outstanding channel separation. The coils are aligned in a reverse V-shaped formation, which exerts less pressure on the stylus, thereby minimizing distortion. The cartridge body is pre-threaded, enabling it to be mounted onto the headshell or integral tonearm with just two screws – no nuts required. Nude Microlinear stylus and boron cantilever provide lower distortion and high transient response. A neodymium magnet and a premium permendur yoke with high saturation flux density and outstanding magnetic properties further enhance the concentrated magnetic field of the coil gap. Aluminum body minimizes unwanted vibration for reduced resonance and superior audio reproduction. Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting process (PCOCC) is used for the coils to achieve pure signal transfer.

A Very Homogeneous CartridgeThe Ortofon MC Quintet Blue is a moving coil (MC) phono cartridge designed to enhance your vinyl listening sessions with greater detail and depth. Ideal for audiophiles seeking a balanced and dynamic sound this cartridge brings out the nuances in your music collection making each record come alive.Smooth and Detailed Sound ReproductionCompared to its counterpart the Quintet Red the Quintet Blue offers a smoother sound profile. It provides a more refined reproduction capturing subtle details that contribute to a richer listening experience. This makes it a versatile choice for various music genres especially those with rhythmic complexity. Advanced Stylus DesignAt the heart of the Quintet Blue is a Nude Elliptical diamond stylus mounted on an aluminum cantilever. This design ensures precise tracking of the record grooves resulting in accurate sound reproduction. The stylus's shape allows for a broader contact area with the groove walls which translates to improved detail retrieval and reduced distortion. Innovative Cartridge ConstructionThe cartridge body is crafted from a special thermoplastic material known for its lightweight and impact-resistant properties. This construction not only enhances durability but also minimizes unwanted resonances contributing to the cartridge's overall sonic clarity. What's in the BoxMC Quintet Blue Moving Coil CartridgeSpecificationsOutput voltage at 1kHz 5cm/sec.: 0.5mVChannel balance at 1kHz: 21dBChannel separation at 15kHz: >14dBFrequency range at -3dB: 20Hz - 25kHzFrequency response: 20Hz - 20kHz +/-2.5Tracking ability at 315Hz at recommended tracking force: 70μmCompliance dynamic lateral: 15μm/mN

The AT33xEN is a versatile cartridge that delivers warm full-bodied audio with excellent tracking and high-frequency control thanks to its 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical nude stylus on a duralumin tapered cantilever. Its advanced suspension system with piano wire enhances accuracy and mid-low range response while the composite body of zinc aluminum and high-rigidity polymer reduces resonance for balanced natural sound. The dual moving coil design with PCOCC coils ensures outstanding channel separation and smooth signal transmission supported by a neodymium magnet and permendur yoke for high efficiency and resolution.FeaturesDual Moving Coil Cartridge with Elliptical Nude StylusPCOCC Coils Ensure Smooth Signal TransmissionComposite Body Reduces Resonance for Balanced SoundMaterial DifferenceThe AT33xEN’s rigid duralumin pipe cantilever which tapers toward the elliptical stylus tip for improved response is linked with a firm suspension mechanism slightly lowering the dynamic compliance. Two independent PCOCC coils are positioned at the cantilever’s fulcrum to ensure pure signal transmission for each channel.Sound BodyEach AT33x Series cartridge body is constructed of three distinct materials – die-cast zinc aluminum and high-rigidity polymer – optimally arranged to reduce and disperse resonance across the cartridge body so that no frequency predominates during playback. Threaded holes are incorporated into the body for easy mounting.Full Warm SoundThe redesigned AT33x Series cartridges deliver that classic analog sound rich in detail across the audio spectrum with lifelike expressiveness in the mid to low frequencies. What's in the BoxAT33xEN Dual Moving Coil Stereo CartridgeInstallation KitManualSpecifications
