The brush works at picking up large debris, hairs and the like, but the stuff it needs to get is the stuff it misses. The small particles that make it softly pop and hiss as it plays are left behind.

I used this brush on my brand new record and it left a bunch of little fibers stuck in the grooves. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get them out of the grooves because my record cleaning cloth isn't moving them at all. The record I used it on was brand new and perfect, and now is covered in little bristles.
