Q: What does the back side look like? How does it mount on a standard, vertical, dual outlet?
A: The product has one A/C plug.
Q: Is there a lip on the front so it can be flush mounted in a piece of furniture?
A: There is a small lip on the top side of the device, so it can be used to hold a smartphone if plugged into the wall. It is flush on the other three sides. As a side, note I don't like the placement of the USB connectors. They are far too close to the AC outlets so if you are using any of those DC adaptor plugs the USB outlets can get covered. So overall I was not happy with the device design. Should have different placement on the USB outlets and should have 4 not 2 USB outlets.
Q: Will this work with 220 v power in uk?
A: No, only 120 volt.
