This air conditioner has been installed for two weeks and has been running as expected. I’m glad I ordered one with a remote so I don’t have to get out of bed at night. The option of raising the temperature by a few degrees over the next hours is useful at night. This unit is a good deal quieter than my last one. A small drawback is the side accordion barrier is about 6” too short for my 43” wide window. I velcroed the remote to my headboard and made a side barrier from wood. Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase and consider the price fair.
