If you want to tweak your sound for rocking out this should be your first pedal. There’s a reason they’ve made this same one since 1978. It’s just that good. Versatile controls to give you low crunch, higher screams etc. this is a no brainer for your equipment pile.

As always Boss pedals sound snd work great. With this pedal, you can set the knobs to the amount of distortion you want to get you specific sound need. The construction of the pedal ery durable for years of use

One of the best guitar pedals, on my pedal board this is a classic sound, it is a solid construction and feels like a professional piece of a musician's arsenal.

I bought this for my guitar playing husband for Christmas because he was feeling nostalgic for our high school days. This isn’t something you want to get if you’re wanting a more grown sound, but this absolutely is something that a beginner or someone who is super into the 90’s grunge/punk style.
