Added before your drywall is installed, this fire rated backbox is used to reduce sound transmission between room in your home. As an example, very useful if you tend to have parties in the kitchen when the baby's room is in the room next door. Compatible with all CI300 and CI600 in-wall models. Must be used with a matching PreMountKit. See below for more information.

Designed for Bowers & Wilkins CI 600 Series and CI 300 Series in-wall speakers
Fits any CWM model in the CI 300 or CI 600 range. Must be used with a PMK pre-mount kit (sold separately).

Meets fire safety building regulations
Improves home safety.
Required Pre Mount Kit
For CWM66x or CWM36x models use PMK W6. For CWM652 use PMK W5.
