Both modes work well. It’s far better than Bose QC45 in sound quality and battery life. None of the cutting out that happens w Bose wireless. The bass is richer than Beats, Bose, and Skull Candy (though most of their lines are inferior, the bass is sometimes passable).

Overall, I find these headphones to be wonderful. I purchased these as an upgrade from my Platronics poly voyager 2 headset. I find that the noise cancelation feature on the b&w headphones are superior, that in addition to the sound quality. However, i find that the b&w headphones are a much tighter fit then the platronics. The microphone works way better then suggested on other reviews, in my opinion. I do find that the B&W headphones is ultimately lacking a major feature, which would be to have better compatibility with a a PC. I would like to see that improvement made on future models. I also found the build quality to be of higher quality, then comparable headsets. I would really like to get a pair of the B&W s8's and see if they are worth it.

Great sound! Sleek design but tbh the noise cancelling could be better

The app itself, however, leaves much to be desired, feeling more like a platform for ads than a genuinely useful tool. Stick to what you do best, Bowers & Wilkins, and leave the music services to the experts. The buttons on the headphones are intuitive, and I appreciate the customizable quick action button. However, a missed opportunity lies in the lack of a double-click function, limiting quick access to both voice assistant and environment control. Small details, but they matter. The 'Made for iPhone' label on the box seems more of a marketing point than a significant feature. While the headphones do have an app, the transition between Apple devices lacks the seamless handoff expected. Connecting still involves the traditional Bluetooth settings, and the headphones don't support SharePlay, a feature sorely missed when wanting to share audio experiences with others. On the upside, the sleek and well-designed case is a winner. The magnetic compartment neatly hides the cables, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall package. In conclusion, despite a few quirks, the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2e headphones have won me over with their comfort and impressive sound quality. If you can overlook the minor inconveniences in the app and device connectivity, these headphones offer a delightful audio experience.
