A: It will scan 50 pages at once. The document feeder holds fifty pages and will scan both sides of the page in one pass.

A: The MFC-J6930DW does not have the smart task feature.
Q: Can you scan to SD cards or flash drives?
A: No, you cannot scan to SD cards since it does not have a memory card slot but you can use flash drives since there is a USB 2.0 port in it.
A: I have scanned as many as 25 pages at time, single and double sided several times, I have not had any problems. I suggest fanning the sheets before loading. I would recommend this printer.
Q: Can the lower tray take 11x17 paper?
A: Yes, the lower tray can handle 11x17. Paper handling in general, both printing and scanning, is where this printer really shines, in my opinion. The print quality and speed is fine for my needs. Not astounding by any stretch, but good. I bought it for its flexibility in printing and scanning, and it has not disappointed.
