Limited double vinyl LP pressing of this album by the American rockers. The Southern Harmony And Musical Companion is the second album by The Black Crowes, released on May 12, 1992. It was the first record by the band to feature Marc Ford on lead guitar, replacing Jeff Cease, who was fired the year before. The album's name derives from the full name of the Southern Harmony, an influential 1835 hymnal compiled by William Walker. It features four hit singles; InchRemedyInch (#1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for 11 weeks), InchThorn in My PrideInch (#1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for four weeks), InchSting MeInch (#1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for two weeks), and InchHotel IllnessInch (#1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for six weeks). It was a record for an album to feature four album-rock #1 hits (previously set by Tom Petty in 1989, with three). Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album.
