About this product
Two years after their debut, InchA Tribute to TigersInch, By the End of Tonight offer these six new jams. On the other half of this split album is Tera Melos with their frantic, absurdly complex songs - the perfect compliment to By the End of Tonight's darker, more sinister instrumental metal. Though both bands play a hyper-catchy, addictive form of spastic punk, Tera Melos brings to mind a hybrid of fellow Sacramento speed freaks Hella and Cap'n Jazz, while By the End of Tonight draw an unfathomable arc between Blink 182 and the Jesus Lizard. Album Tracks 1. Delaware Is Depressing 2. Philthy Collins 3. Jealous of a Ghost 4. Cold Hands 5. Ghost Boat 6. Elvis Never Didn't Die 7. Tera Melos 8. 555-0676 9. Party with Tina 10. When Worms Leave to Fly 11. Medley Melody 9/Last Smile for Jason

Poetic and personal, you need only to listen to the record's lyrics and atmosphere to understand where the title Depersonalisation comes from. Recurring themes include disassociation of reality and dissipation of love, with Venzin's understated and at times unsettling vocal delivery almost as hard to forget as the album's unique mood. Album Tracks 1. Depersonalised 2. Fill the Void 3. You I Never Knew 4. Come Down 5. Pray for Strangers 6. Hell/Happy 7. Prescription 8. Like a Drone 9. Winter's Gone
Goners, the fifth album from acclaimed singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Laura Gibson, is her best, and also her strangest. There are hauntings and transformation, odd birds and harbingers. Women become wolves, men metamorphose into machines, ghost-children wave in the rearview mirror, a scar becomes a vessel for memory. Her lyrics are populated with sharp objects a needle, a thistle, a sickle, a scythe, claws and animal teeth. InchI wanted the songs to feel like fables, to unfold with dream logic,Inch Gibson explains. Goners is a record for thinkers and feelers, for the fierce and also the weary, and despite it's darkness, Gibson has succeeded in making a work of radical hope.
