We recently moved into a brand new home and chose the Cafe line of Appliances. This 1.7 Cu. Ft Convention Microwave compliments the other Cafe appliances and is excellent. It has a unique control panel. You don't enter the time to cook via a control panel keypad. You tap cook time and turn the round knob, which adds 15 seconds per click of the know. Then you push the knob in once and press start. It's different than we've had in other microwaves, but once you get used to it, works quite well. It's very spacious inside and in addition to normal microwave functions, it's a convection oven as well. This will really come in handy during the holidays when oven space is at a premium and you need to cook casserole dishes. The interior is dark and won't show dirt as easily as lighter interior microwaves. You have all the preset options you need and you can dial in the the food you're planning to cook and the microwave determines the correct time and power automatically. Little things make a big difference too. The vent fan on most microwaves we've owned are obnoxiously loud. Not on this Cafe appliance. It vents really well and you can actually talk and be heard when it's on. The under-microwave lights are two levels and provide good light to the range burners below. All in all, this is a great compliment to the Cafe appliances in our kitchen. Note that this appliance must be in high demand and came a few weeks after the other appliances came. If you're buying Cafe appliances, you may have to wait a bit longer for the microwave, but to us, it was well worth the wait.

Very nice looking and it functions well with my cafe slide in range. I haven’t used the oven part of this microwave yet, but the microwave works well, nice and quite.

Love the combo microwave and convection oven. Unfortunately the controls make it quite confusing. The instruction guide that comes with the microwave gives a lot of conflicting information and makes it confusing as to what is safe and not safe to use in the oven. The timer feature is great, but the timer goes on and on and never stops until you hit the cancel button. The timer is also very difficult to start and stop. Cooking is not even when using the convection oven. One side of the meal is always fully cooked while the other side is undercooked. There is a combo cook option, but no clue how to use that or how that feature would work. There are no details on this feature in the instruction guide. There are no recipes included and no suggestions on how to use the oven. Would not buy this microwave again if I had the opportunity.

I bought my place with an older version of this product that did not work well. Due to wanting to keep install work to a minimum I went this as the replacement to make it easy to install. I must say this version is many times better than the older one. The convection oven portion of the product is so much better and the unit completely heats to temperature, the old unit never got above 250, but the thermostat would read 400+. Overall, a very solid product. I was nervous at first due to the previous one, but this one is so much better.

I bought this because I needed a microwave that would fit under my cabinet and over the stove. Most microwaves are too tall for that space. I love the look of it and the design. I have a little trouble reading the choices on the panel without my glasses, but once I memorize them it will be fine. Seems retro to use a dial, but it is really easy and nice.

I owned a GE profile over the range convection microwave for 15 years and worked great, but it is wearing out and time for a new model. This model was an upgrade from my profile model and on sale. So far happy with this.

I decided to change my 14 year old Jennair appliances after the control panel on my range stopped working. Although, the Best Buy home advisor did all the measuring for all the appliances it has been and continues to be a total nightmare. I purchased the microwave on 11/9 for installation before Thanksgiving. However, the microwave was not in stock until the week before Christmas. The microwave was 1/4 inch wider than the old one. The geek squad agent was great. He informed me that the standard size of the microwaves have changed and I wouldn't find one to fit. I was able to find someone to cut the cabinet asap so that the geek squad agent could install the microwave. So far, the microwave is good. I only have used it to re-heat food. It is easy to use.

I chose this microwave because it goes with the oven and fridge. I also chose this specific model because it has a convection too. It is also easy to use.

Good microwave - but way more expensive for what you really get.

Good product. Not as photo show. I ordered specifically for the black enamel interior. The shiny interior instigates seizures in an epileptic family member. Whdd Ed n product arrived it’s stainless interior. After going back snd forth with GE Cafe. Found out black interior is not made anymore. They are not responsible for stores to keep websites and sales floor up to date. 2018 was when model was updated to stainless only. Word yo the wise. Go to Ge cafe website and ask for specifics. Interior color was only change. The manual is exactly same other than the two words changed. Black ceramic to stainless steel. If a specific detail hs important do check with manufacturer. As all major stores websites and sales people didn’t know of the change. Also, the touch pad does not light up. Not even if the light under microwave is on or door open. Hard to see. Operates as a microwave well.

We bought the whole GE Cafe set and are very pleased with the microwave. The dial is a fun way to set the time and the fan/light sync with the stove to turn on when you turn on your range. While not cheap, it feels rock solid when you open/close.

We have had this microwave afee weeks now and we are still learning about all its features. So far We love it! Beverage and reheat buttons are our favorites. The oven works perfectly and we are happy to use it over the large oven to save time and energy. Looking forward to learning about all of the features! Highly recommend

Microwave works great the only downfall for me is the sides of the microwave on the outside of it are black when the front is white totally doesn’t make sense to me. GE failed in that respect if you ask me.

This is our second Cafe appliance and we are extremely satisfied with the product. It looks nice and is easy to operate. Well worth the price tag.

Extremely satisfied with this multifunction microwave/convection oven. Installed to match out other Cafe Professional appliances, it delivers the same high end engineering, function, and performance, we have come to value in that line. More costly than other options but, in our opinion, well worth the investment. Highly recommended to anyone.

really looks great in our kitchen. the cooking features are amazing and it's like having a built in air fryer. my only complaint is that you have to hit time>scroll>click>click. If I want a minute I can hit 4 things, or I can use 30 seconds twice. I wish the knob only needed to be hit once to start or I only had to turn the knob and hit it again to start.

I bought this particular microwave strictly because (don't call me crazy) I like the way it looks! Well...I like the way it functions as well!
